I reuse the sturdy slightly more expensive plastic grocery shopping bags. For a while there was a drive to reduce the use of plastic bags, for example you used paper bags for vegetable and fruit and plastic shopping bags cost more than the paper ones. Now the plastic bags are back, must have realized the "carbon footprint" was actually bigger with the paper... or something. I hate when I forget to bring an old one, 2 bucks wasted
