Here’s a picture of stainless steel rebar, 6 m long, AISI 304, 12 mm, loaded in the trailer. The reason for using stainless is simple: it’s not a time bomb that expands 6x when rusting and lasts much longer. A good example is the Progreso pier — built around the 1940s with stainless, still standing today. In the 1970s they built a parallel pier with regular rebar, and it dissolved in seawater within a few decades. Seawater is salty, just like a person urinates about a teaspoon of salt at once — that same salt would immediately start forcing regular rebar to corrode fast.

99.9% probability this is the most impressive double‑vault DIY composting toilet in the world. Anyone disagrees — show me the proof. Pump trucks waste valuable material by dumping it underground in landfills, while soil degradation is speeding us toward hunger. My toilet solves that problem: completely green, lasting generations, and returning compost to the soil. Greta would be proud. Here is how the first row of rebar (stainless steel) was set inside the formwork

One guy in a construction forum complained about a possible rust nest that this mushroom (rebar chair) could create. Without supports the first row of rebar cannot float in the air. If you put the mushroom under, it’s the same potential rust pocket. At least I used stainless steel, so the risk is minimal. Show me a better engineering solution, not just nitpicking. And for anyone curious how it actually looks after the pour — in the video around 8:30 I point directly at that mushroom.
