Since the Maloof Brothers opened it in 1997, there have been a number of owners. Palms Hotel was closed during COVID (March 2020), and in 2021, Red Rock sold the resort for $650 million to the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, which reopened it on April 27, 2022. I think that as the hotel hotel, they can get what they need here for the press conference, athlete and staff meetings, and much more cooperation to get what is needed to make the Olympia even better.
Facilities: The Las Vegas Palms Casino Resort has 703 rooms and suites distributed over two easily identifiable buildings, As expected, Palms Resort Vegas has a casino with all of the classic games, but in a more comfortable, less overpowering setting than the Strip’s bigger venues. The property has two pools: Palms Pool with 39 cabanas and Laguna Pool, Palms Place, which features a dramatic wrap-around pool, jacuzzi, and plush lounges. Now, where will the venue be that actually hosts the main contest? Rumor is that they will have in at the Orleans Arena, which is less than a mile away from Palms, which can host over 7,000 people. It used to be there for quite a number of years.
