Regarding the Synthol and PMMA debate, one more current pro made the point that it was those "greats" who started the Synthol and it looked much worse than today, e.g. Nasser and Ruhl. He named those but you also had Wheeler, even Dexter etc, etc. Ernie Taylor being allowed to compete was a travesty. Pretty strangely Dorian vouched for Taylor that it wasn't Synthol. Ok, maybe it was something else with the same function, looked shitty regardless.

You have a point there but I don’t think Yates or Ray where ever accused of using synthol Haney either
