Personally, I do not see how that image needed to be removed. It seems to me to be no more damaging than many other photos which depict these people as friends or social acquaintances. People are reading too much into these photos. I am more curious about all those pages/files which are completely redacted.
Considering how many years the DOJ has had to review the Epstein files which they started collecting in 2006, one wonders why after nearly 20 years they still need more time to check them over before releasing them?
If the redactions are intended to protect the victims what happens if some these victims no longer feel the need to be protected, since so many of them have gone public.
The U.S. government has a long history of keeping information from the public either by saying they are classified or because of some other usually weak, nonsense excuse.
