Dorian better flow more proportionate development and does not look like he's burdoned with muscle mass.

What’s crazy is the amount of muscle that Ronnie has. It’s unbelievable when you compare him to other Olympians. He makes them look like amateurs.

His best look was 99. If this thread was actually accurate it would have had Yates in the black and white shots and Ronnie at 99 Olympia.

The black and white photos of Dorian are so stupid. Can’t compare a black and white photo to a color photo. Both have to be the same. The black and white photos of Dorian are inaccurate anyway. The black and white photos just cause a misrepresentation of Dorian’s physique. People think it makes him look hardcore, therefore him having a better physique. He always looks worse in the color photos when compared to the black and white photos.

He was massive. Dorian hit that pose with his thighs much straighter than Ronnie. If he had flared his feet outward, his thighs likely would have looked even bigger. Unfortunately, we’ll never know for sure what that would’ve looked like — unless someone creates a truly faithful AI model to interpolate it. Even then, it’s difficult, because you can’t accurately predict how his leg shape would change in Ronnie’s stance. There might be some video footage or photos where he hits the pose that way, I'll have to look.

Based on the above photos, Ronnie takes it. Dorian’s calves were clearly superior, but interestingly, Ronnie’s calves don’t look undersized in this shot. By contrast, Lunsford’s calves are far too small relative to his thighs.

1. Ronnie
2. Dorian
3. Heath
4. Lunsford

Here's an offseason photo where Dorian's feet are angled out, making his thighs look wider.

Notice how his feet point straight forward in the rear shot. He angled his feet out in the front shot. He should have hit it both ways, straight and angled out.

Didn't anyone tell Dorian that calves can't be developed?

Now that I look more closely Dorian’s back does look more full than Ronnie’s. So doz or Ronnie could tie fork those pics imo.

Well it's not Lunsford. Too squat in body structure, torso is too long for too short-ish thighs, the thighs are splayed akwardly, and the lats don't originate far enough down around the hips and lumbar region.

I'll be controversial, and only because we're judging THESE pics (and not the BEST Ronnie pic). In this pic, it's clear to see Ronnie's left side is atrophying, throwing off his symmetry. The left lat has atrophied and pulled away from the origin around the spine. The infraspinatus has atrophied, as has the teres major. It throws off what should be a winning pose for him. And (this is my opinion), his glutes are too over-developed, throwing off his proportions on the pose. He has outstanding arms, bone structure, hamstrings...

That puts it between Heath and Yates in these pics. It's not one Heath can win. He shows well in the arms and calves, but Dorian's calves are as good/better. Phil's squattish bone structure makes Yates more aesthetic in the pose (Yates' longish legs, shortish torso). Heath's hams and glutes are better conditioned, but Yates' back is better conditioned and separated. Heath shows remarkable lat thickness top to bottom, but there's a lack of hardness there that betrays him. So, Heath loses to Yates.

1. Yates
2. Heath
3. Ronnie (a pic of a prime Ronnie instead of beat-up Ronnie would have likely won)
4. Lunsford
