I've said before I just viewed Trump as a necessity over Harris, and for me the turning point was the Bragg case for all the reasons listed.

Regardless of all the extra crap that comes with him, he was an infinitely better choice over the Democratic ticket.

Well Trump will not be running again so that's moot.

But I was pretty staunchly anti-democrat for about 9 years, and still am at the moment.

I've said for awhile that the Democrats have completely lost their way.  They let Trump push them into abandoning their morals, embraced lunatic ideals (men in womens' sports, unchecked immigration), they're on the wrong side of most 80/20 issues (voter ID for one), the tried to remove a duly elected President, they weaponized the judicial system, covered up a President's mental decline, promoted DEI and identity politics, botched covid (both sides did, but the left was far worse overall), attempted to use the government to silence individuals, suppressed legit media stories, perpetuated lies (very fine people, etc) and all along the way the complicit media enabled them to do it.

Now, their approval ratings are in the dump, and now hardly any of the thinking parts of the country trust the media at all.  Everything is divisive and there's a mass psychosis called TDS affecting millions of folks.

And I have not seen anyone from the Democratic side come forth as a centrist and a uniter - it's not Newsom, not AOC, not Harris.......

They are the worst of the worst, and I have not seen a candidate they have who will change it.  Maybe, possibly, one of the governors, but they aren't being touted as legit candidates right now.
