The voice in the linked video is allegedly from a Venezuelan, a Maduro supporter, who witnessed the attack and its aftermath first hand, and also shares what he has heard from others who witnessed the same.

It's in Español. Here I translate part of it for Getbiggers who aren't fluent:

"We surrendered.  They have much better technology, much more armament.

Here today, civilians were voluntarily returning the rifles that they had been given to fight off the Americans.

They want nothing to do with this.  They don't want to fight. It was horrible what they witnessed here in Caracas.

We were neutralized. None of the equipment that we had to respond to the attack worked. They turned off all of our electrical power.  They destroyed the radars.  They destroyed the Iglas (Soviet/Russian man-portable air-defense missile).

One guy grabbed an Igla, and when he fired it, immediately a drone detected him and well, he and all those around him died.  They killed them all with just one bomb.

Elsewhere, one cocky guy fired one of them weapons and missed.  The drone returned and dropped a bomb, blowing him away and half the area where he stood.

There were only 8 helicopters and 20 men.  Only 20 men killed 200 men.

They had a sonic weapon that made me and many others bleed through the nose and the ears. It was a very loud, high pitch noise over the city of Caracas and it made people bleed through their nose and ears.  We were unable to move.  We were temporarily paralyzed.

We've been told that we have entered a time of transition, that many positions will be replaced, that the US is in charge, that the national police will be dismantled, that the American embassy will reopen very soon.

People are traumatized, demoralized, discouraged, angry, but more than anything, they are very afraid. People are afraid the US will attack again and drop more bombs.

If only 8 helicopters can cause this much devastation, imagine if they send hundreds or thousands of helicopters.

Their technology and armament are truly amazing.

We had never before seen helicopters with such speed.  They flew so fast that they left homes without roofs and toppled trees in their path."

Let them in and wait. Then slowly attack them like the Viet Cong and make their lives miserable.

Time will tell if the Venezuelans see any improvement in their lives. The US wants to steal their resources. Trump claims some of the money will go to Venezuelans to improve their situation. He's lied before. So this might be another one.

Got this from an American Liberal who got really triggered.

"Trump must be taken down one way or another.
Trump has repeatedly used rhetoric that **normalizes threats, legitimizes violence, and inflames conflict**. His language is not about uniting a nation, but about dividing it:
*us versus them*, *loyalists versus enemies*, *real Americans versus the rest*.
This is not leadership.
It is deliberate polarization.
When a leader frames the country as a battleground of hostile groups instead of a shared civic project, the very idea of the nation is undermined. America is no longer presented as one people, but as a fractured and adversarial space where power is maintained through fear and loyalty — not through common values.
And here lies the most dangerous truth:
**The Republicans know this.**
They see the instability.
They hear the incitement.
They understand the consequences.
Yet they choose the man over the mission.
They were elected to serve **the people**, not Donald Trump.
Their continued silence in the face of a leader who displays poor judgment, emotional volatility, contempt for constitutional norms, and a reckless flirtation with violent rhetoric is not neutrality — it is complicity.
The Republican Party now stands exposed as a movement that has abandoned its responsibility to the people and instead clings to power for power’s own sake.
It no longer acts as a governing party, but as an **authoritarian, power-hungry and unprincipled apparatus** — willing to sacrifice the Constitution, the truth, and the nation’s unity to preserve its own position.
This is not leadership.
This is not conservatism.
This is a naked pursuit of power without morality and without a future.
When a party chooses an unstable leader over the stability of the country, fuels division to maintain influence, and covers up obvious violations to avoid accountability, it forfeits any right to speak of patriotism.
The truth is simple:
Trump is a problem.
But the Republicans’ willing submission to him is what makes the damage permanent."

Venezuelans aren't warriors.  They don't have a history of fighting.  They don't have a militia. Only way that happens is if foreign militias from other places enter the country to fight for Venezuelans.

Time will tell if the Venezuelans see any improvement in their lives. The US wants to steal their resources. Trump claims some of the money will go to Venezuelans to improve their situation. He's lied before. So this might be another one.

Cuba, Russia, China, and Iran have been stealing Venezuela's resources since the late 90s, when Hugo Chavez took over the country.  Venezuelans never wanted this, but they are powerless against their corrupt dictatorship and military leaders.

Fuck Disney! No!

I saw a commercial and they have a “soulful” Disney that’s catered to black people. I thought it was maybe from a travel agency but it was Disney proper.

They didn't learn from the cruise lines?

It’s too expensive, you won’t get the $300 weekend cruisers. My brother and his family just came off an 8 day Carnival cruise and had no issues.

Our Delta operators are badass. This is INSANE

“This account from a Venezuelan security guard loyal to Nicolás Maduro is absolutely chilling—and it explains a lot about why the tone across Latin America suddenly changed.

Security Guard: On the day of the operation, we didn't hear anything coming. We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation. The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn't know how to react.

Interviewer: So what happened next? How was the main attack?

Security Guard: After those drones appeared, some helicopters arrived, but there were very few. I think barely eight helicopters. From those helicopters, soldiers came down, but a very small number. Maybe twenty men. But those men were technologically very advanced. They didn't look like anything we've fought against before.

Interviewer: And then the battle began?

Security Guard: Yes, but it was a massacre. We were hundreds, but we had no chance. They were shooting with such precision and speed... it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute. We couldn't do anything.

Interviewer: And your own weapons? Didn't they help?

Security Guard: No help at all. Because it wasn't just the weapons. At one point, they launched something—I don't know how to describe it... it was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside. We all started bleeding from the nose. Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move.

Interviewer: And your comrades? Did they manage to resist?

Security Guard: No, not at all. Those twenty men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us. We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons. I swear, I've never seen anything like it. We couldn't even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was.

Interviewer: So do you think the rest of the region should think twice before confronting the Americans?

Security Guard: Without a doubt. I'm sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can fight the United States. They have no idea what they're capable of. After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again. They're not to be messed with.

Interviewer: And now that Trump has said Mexico is on the list, do you think the situation will change in Latin America?

Security Guard: Definitely. Everyone is already talking about this. No one wants to go through what we went through. Now everyone thinks twice. What happened here is going to change a lot of things, not just in Venezuela but throughout the region.”
