lmao! There's over 4 million militia in Venezuela!

There were about 300,000 Viet Cong in Vietnam in 1962.

That number comes from what Maduro claimed back in August, 2025.  It must be true if Maduro claimed it, because communist dictators rarely lie.

Where were those 4 million militia when Maduro was captured?  Why was Maduro guarded by Cuban soldiers instead?

From what I've heard, and it could be inaccurate for all we know, there were about 100K militia in Venezuela at one point when Chavez was in charge.  However, approximately 8 million Venezuelans have fled their country since Maduro took over.  I seriously doubt that militia still exists today.

However, there are Colombian leftist guerrilla groups around the border who I'm sure would gladly fight the US in Venezuela.

There's about 28.2 million people living in Venezuela. Just as in any society some will be skilled as natural fighters or warriors as you call them.

You mean the ones who were given rifles by the Venezuelan military to resist the American invasion?  The same ones who voluntarily returned those rifles the day after Maduro was captured?

These people?

Venezuela hasn't been in a war since 1903.  Even their military are poorly trained with no warfare experience.

Some online comments in Español are saying this "sonic weapon" story is what the Venezuelan military and civilians who were supposed to fight back made up to save face, that what really happened is they were paralyzed by fear.

This reads like sci-fi propaganda.

“Sonic weapons” don’t fill the atmosphere or selectively incapacitate only one side — sound is directional and affects everyone nearby. A device that causes mass nosebleeds and internal injury would also affect the attackers.

The claim that ~20 men killed “hundreds” with zero casualties using mystery tech violates basic physics and modern combat reality. Real US SOF win through intelligence, surprise, and coordination — not magic weapons.

Coach, no offense, but this sounds like it’s scripted lol. You really don’t believe that 20 men killed hundreds?

When you cut the other sides communications, cut their electricity and grids while I'm assuming at the same time sending in drones and Blackhawks strikes taking out their military installations and nearby ports, then dropping in ground troops with NODS (2:01am) to take out Maduro's security around the compound then extracting Maduro and his wife within 2.5hrs isn't farfetched. But he didn't know if it was 20, 30 or whatever. He speculated. Maybe more, maybe less.

In the interview he said that the "sound wave" was launched. It obviously wasn't "launched" from the ground troops and since he said "at one point they launched something". What does "at one point mean"? Before DF hit the ground or after? We have that capability. We have weapons that we'll never even know about until it's used and even then we may never know. DF are by far the best trained operators on the planet with CIA Paramilitary being right up there

YES!

That tune really demoralized them! :D

Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Wednesday that the United States aims to restart Venezuelan oil production, place sales and revenue under U.S.-controlled accounts, and set conditions for American oil companies to operate in the country.

Wright said the approach would also benefit the Venezuelan people.

The U.S. is practically bankrupt.

If the US really is bankrupt, what does that say about the rest of the world?

Top 5 Economies in the World

1. United States

2026 GDP: USD 32.1 trillion

The United States’ GDP is the world’s largest, being worth over a quarter of global output in nominal GDP terms. Moreover, it has among the world’s highest GDP per capita. The economy’s structure is highly diversified. The tech industry, anchored by Silicon Valley, dominates globally, driving innovation in AI, biotech and software. The financial sector, centered in New York, boasts the world’s deepest capital markets. Healthcare and pharmaceuticals are other strengths, while manufacturing—though reduced in scale compared to previous decades—remains competitive in areas such as aerospace, defense and motor vehicles.

Top Oil Producers and Their Reserves

The United States tops global oil production, pumping more than 20 million barrels per day.

The United States Dominates Global Gold Holdings

The United States remains the world’s largest holder of gold by a wide margin, with 8,133.5 tonnes, a figure virtually unchanged for decades. Most of this gold is stored at Fort Knox and the New York Federal Reserve.

At current prices, America’s reserves are worth over $1 trillion, serving as a strategic asset that underpins confidence in the U.S. dollar.

What’s Behind the U.S. Dollar’s Dominance and Why it Matters

The dollar’s strength is reinforced by several factors, including the size of the U.S. economy, the stability and transparency of U.S. government and economic institutions, and an independent central bank that credibly balances maximum employment and price stability.

The U.S. dollar is also the dominant currency for international trade, and assets held in dollars are seen as a superior store of value when countries face instability. Commodities such as oil, gold, and natural gas are priced and sold in dollars, even in transactions not involving the United States. El Salvador and Ecuador (and some other territories) have even adopted it as their official currency in a process called dollarization.

Countries also frequently borrow in U.S. dollars, enabling emerging market economies to access broader international lending pools. This reduces investor concerns about local currency risks and helps these countries secure financing at favorable terms, given the dollar’s stability and global acceptance.

Top 10 Countries with the Most Technological Innovation in 2025

1. United States: The Global Powerhouse of Innovation

The United States remains the world’s leading hub for technological innovation in 2025, thanks to its combination of top-tier universities, a thriving start-up culture, and massive R&D investment.

American companies continue to lead in semiconductors, AI, space tech, biotech, and clean energy, with giants like Apple, Google, Tesla, NVIDIA, and SpaceX setting global trends. The U.S. government, through agencies like DARPA and NSF, continues to support cutting-edge innovation in areas such as quantum computing and defense technology.

The Silicon Valley ecosystem, supported by world-class VC funding and an open immigration policy for tech talent, ensures the U.S. retains its crown in global innovation.

Go ahead invade Venezuela. Send 60,000 soldiers in there and let's see how that works out in a few years. US needs to put boots on the ground or else they look like pussies. Go in there and steal their shit. Do it!

1. It's not up to me.

2. I never said that I want the US to invade Venezuela.

3. Trump isn't threatening to invade Venezuela now.  He said the US made a deal with the current Venezuelan government and that they are cooperating.
