I can't wait till they really start pumping out AI movies.
The magic will happen when AI can be consistent. For example, you have people in a room, like in the Godfather scene in his office. They can be viewed from any angle, and any zoom length, and you can do simple prompts to control it. For example, you tell it to turn the head 20 degrees more, make the sun come in at a different angle, etc. But it all needs to be like current 3D modelling software where you are in control and can view the scene from anywhere. In addition to prompts, I would want mouse control to choose my camera angles. Rotate it as you do in 3D programs, zoom, in, crop the camera, etc.
AI still fakes it till it makes it with shadows, reflections, etc. I already posted examples here of 3D raytracing and complicated reflections and shadows. AI is still not there in those areas. But once it arrives, boy will it be fun. Now you're in the Matrix world. The next step would be almost real-time results. In the Matrix, tank loads the Jump Program. It takes a few seconds, and they are in that virtual world. We need this with AI!
