In all fairness Dex won his pro card I think as a bantamweight? Possibly lightweight I don't remember. He's a small framed guy with great insertions and a fast metabolism. I think i saw him flat benching 405 years ago, that's crazy strong for such a small bone structure.

And I doubt all his gains were GH and insulin, almost certainly a lot of synthol went in to that body of his.

Sounds accurate. It was the north Americans I think? I remember when he won I was shocked how good he looked and my first impression was that he would be a great pro. Always liked Dex. Great separation, balance, great conditioning etc.

Think he was a lightweight around 150lbs when he won his pro card.

I did the NPC Southern States in `95 and Dex was in the audience and was walking around in just some farmers jeans without a shirt..........I`m talking he looked fucking incredible........also saw Tom Prince there also, in a pair of black Spandex with a hoodie.......he looked cartoonish with insane hamstrings the likes of which I had never seen.....also sported some paper bags on his feet for some strange reason.............Kovac s was there too..........biggest dude I ever saw bar none, and was extremely cool to talk to!

being huge and on high dose gear in your 50s and above is definitely not smart unless you want to roll a dice with heart or kidney failure.

I went to the Dexter Jackson Classic one year. As per my story from that event, Dexter sure loved Diet Coke. He was chain drinking them one after the other the entire time he was sitting in the judging area. Had a huge cooler there he kept pulling them out of.

Milos has said Dexter is pretty much the GOAT of pro bodybuilding.

Everyone always said he was so shredded but I thought he had a pretty thick skinned look. Very lean to be sure but not one I would cite as an example of ultimate shreds.
