May 8th, last day for ephedra sales?

Ephedrine HCL and ephedra are two totally different things

Ephedrine is only 1 of the many components of plant Ephedra.  There are other alkaloids such as pseudoephedrine, and some others, dont remember thier names right now though.  But Ephedra is stronger than ephedrine because of this.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE. I  abused ephedrine heavily for years... I can tell ya the ephedrine hcl is way better (as far as a stimulant goes) than ephedra. The herbal crap does not even come close...not at all.

  yep...Epedrine hcl is way better...I lost a ton of weight when I first started taking it..this was years ago...but I built a tolerance to it very quickly,hence my comment that I abused it...I had to take mega doses to feel the speed buzz...stupid I know...Ephedra comes from mauh hung(spelling is wrong I am sure) a chinese plant.Ephedrine hcl is a pharmasuticaly created ephedra,rather than natural /herbal

Ephedra has been illegal here in the US for at least 2yrs I know it has been in Illinois.  However my gym has been carrying it again supposedly you can buy it again.

You have always been able to buy ephedrine here in Indiana...however,each time you buy it you must give them your drivers license and they write down your information in a log book and you have to sign it.You are only allowed 3,000 mg per week.Each pill is 25 mg and is sold mostly in bottles of 48 pills per bottle,so you can only buy two per week.They also sell them in packets of 4 pills too.They are doing this so they can monitor it because people use it for making crystal meth.but of coarse the ephedra is gone.That is so screwed up because the ephedrine hcl is a much more potent stimulant than the herbal version.The same rule applies to any cold medicine that has psuedoephedrine in it.It is all kept behind the counter now.

yep...well what else do you call taking 120 25 mg pills PER DAY every day...for years.I was taking 2 full bottles every day,(sometimes more) and at that time they were 60 pills per bottle.You build up a tolerance to stimulants vey quickly,and it takes more and more to get the same effect.I woulsd take so much of that crap the only way I would be able to sleep was to get drunk,or take sleeping pills...then I would feel like shit the next day and have to take the ephedrine to get going...whenever I would stop taking it it was horrible...severe headache and was very sleepy.....you take that much of any stimulant for long periods of time you crash when you stop.
