The fallacy about his complete talentlessness in arts is also addressed by the scientists. While he did pass the preselection tests, it is true that he did fail the final selection test, along with 75% of the 112 applicants. Verdict:some talent but not deemed enough of it for the high standards of the academy
Is there someone here good with art who could critique Hitler's paintings? What kind of things are looked at, what are the weaknesses here? Is it mostly technical aspects when it's life-like art like this?
I doubt it. But overall I get the sentiment that I could never produce a painting as good as he did, nevertheless I would not want it on my wall as it looks not great
Same. Doesn't look pleasant, but I couldn't produce this so it requires something. Maybe not talent or vision or taste or whatever, but at least some technical knowledge.I know the Nazis had problems with 'degenerate' art but how do you even define that?
I have one of his watercolors, it’s a decent painting. Back on topic. Mein Kampf was terrible and rambled too much. I think I made it about 115 pages in and couldn’t continue it was so boring and messy. He sure did exactly what he said he was gonna do though.
