THE TEST! An Australian man launched a fundraiser to move into Billie Eilish's mansion after her anti-ICE Grammys speech declaring "no one is illegal on stolen land."
Drew Pavlou plans to put her words to the test. First, he launched a GoFundMe but had to pivot to GiveSendGo after it was taken down.
"I'm not going to do anything illegal. I'm just going to sit outside her house until someone asks me to leave," Pavlou told the media. "I think it would be important to test this theory that nobody is illegal on stolen land."
I think it's brilliant but I wouldn't recommend donating because we all know how this works. Eilish was being performative. She doesn't actually believe what she says.
As for Drew, he says he's going to set up a tent on her Malibu driveway.
"I'm just going to film a meme outside her house," he added. "We'll see how it goes...she should open the doors of her home to the entire world. I think that's very fair."
Good luck, Drew! Maybe we're wrong about Billie Eilish and she'll house you and many others.
