I think that if a post is quoted, and then the individual who wrote the original post deletes it, it will just take you to the thread it came from when you try to click on the quote link. However, if it has been deleted by a moderator, it will say 'the topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.'

I don't think so. When I click on quoted posts that I know the person has subsequently deleted (e.g. DooM and his love of pre-op trannies), I just get taken to the thread. No message. Whereas with reported and removed posts, you get the error message.

As to why someone might report his post and have it removed, the second part of it made a reference to infidelity with busty Black hookers and family finding out about it.

Could just be an oversight and Ron didn't see it. Don't know. I'm just saying, I think there's a distinction between self-deleted posts and ones that have been moved or removed by a mod. That's just an observation I made; Ron would need to confirm.
