Now that there is a serious reward tips are pouring in and investigators have a lot to track down and chew on.  But as I said before, having to increase the reward amount four times makes this look amateurish and unserious.  Why didn't they start with the million dollar reward?  No one who might have seen something is going to be motivated to lift a finger for $1500 or even a $10k reward.  Now that the money is serious, everyone who might know something is paying attention and sharing what they know.

In an affluent neighborhood I would think every other house has a security system, surveillance camera or door cams, motion detectors etc. At that hour of the night, there has to be some activity, somewhere, some movement captured on video of someone or some car going into or out of the subdivision.

But nothing?

It could be the police/FBI have a very good lead and are watching potential suspects but haven't released that info to the media yet so as to not 'burn' the suspect.

Its hard to believe that there are zero clues.

Maybe the motive isn't ransom. Maybe a family member stands to gain from a life insurance policy and set it up to look like ransom? Or maybe it was ransom but as irongrip says she died during the abduction and they completely panicked.

Was the blood at the scene confirmed to be Nacy's?

Correct me if Im wrong but only one guy was seen on what little video they had but he had an enormous back pack on. Im guessing it contained a tarp, or bodybag, perhaps some burglary tools.

They claim due to where the house is located that minimal surveillance is available.

Houses are not side by side, homes are set back from the road, often with vegetation and long driveways, lots of space between homes, and few neighbors.

The most striking thing would be the long driveways and vegetation; I assume that would make it hard to get an accurate recording of a car passing by.

But there are missing people that are never found and criminals who are never found, despite all the cameras. At any time, there are  over 90,000 missing cases that are never resolved. Why should Guthrie be any different?
