You could argue that testosterone isn't an anabolic steroid, rather an androgen. Because anabolic steroids were testosterone derivatives where they attempted to dissociate the anabolic and androgenic effects - it didn't work too well. You can sometimes see the phrase "testosterone & anabolic steroids", for example in relation to drug testing. Of course testosterone is very anabolic as well, more anabolic than most "anabolics." Back in the day bodybuilders didn't understand this which is why they avoided test itself. But this is likely what the guru was referring to, "anabolic steroid."

Test levels begin steadily dropping at the age of 25 and continue to do so as time goes by............replacing it with a normal level of TRT is a good thing for older guys IMO.

test is great but it comes with drawbacks in supraphysiological levels

bloodpressure and hemacrit mainly and all the cascading effects and complications that can arise from that and god knows there is a lot

I had some issues arise from just using 250/week (well at times more like 300-350 tbh)

Just had my pellets inserted today. Been on it about 14 years. Don't see a point I would stop before 75, Everyone needs to make an informed decision on their health. I'll go back in 3.5 months. $30 copay. Money well spent for me 

at around the 5 minute mark he says he's not an expert. My urologist is... so I think I will be continuing my treatment

Unlike steroids, isn't testosterone naturally produced? If the answer is yes, your assumption is wrong
