This current lot do not compare to them.
It always surprises me how much better Vince looked than Kevin here. I wouldn't necessarily say Vince was the better bodybuilder and I wouldn't say Kevin was "off" here. On the day, Vince was just better by a large margin.
Today's bodybuilders are bigger by weight but, the average man's height is between 5'8" and 6 foot even. You can only add so much to an average frame. At a point bodybuilding reached a pinnacle. After that, every added pound retracted from their appearance, even if the added pound was muscle. Its not going to the arms or chest, or thighs, its going to their backs, buts, shoulders and hamstrings. And that makes sense. Arms and chest reached full potential back in the 70's. Guys in the 80 and 90's didn't have better arms or chest than Arnold and Sergio, but they were leaner and had better legs, then the 90's guys weren't much leaner than 80's guys but their backs were better, and so on. Their frames are totally maxed out and they keep adding more shit, oil or what have you. And they look like shit.
Nick Walker getting 2nd place is the biggest travesty in the modern bodybuilding era IMO
Nick Walkers abdomen is the biggest in modern bodybuilding and its a travesty. Soon to be a tragedy.
