I think it's a possibility that security will be increased due to Martin's presence at this show. The competitors will be stressed enough with the pressures of the show and how depleted they will feel. They don't need the extra stress of looking over their shoulders each time Martin stumbles by them.

And regarding Sam's peculiar habit of not bathing regularly; hopefully someone could remind Sam Sulek to actually shower at some point? The backstage will definitely smell of tanner. But they don't need his trademark B.O. /lunch meat/ dirty grease trap during Summer stench overpowering the stage and auditorium.

None of us open guys are actually that depleted when it comes to food at that point.  Plenty of guys smell after not being able to bathe for 24 hours or longer.  We can't bathe or wear deodorant due to the tan.

No I'm referring to the rumor that Sam doesn't like to bathe year round. So not just at the show. He's known to emit a smell similar to a dirty grease trap in July.
