The X-Files is one of the most iconic shows in television history, and its lead archtypes, Mulder and Scully, may be the biggest reason why.

Now, Danielle Deadwyler has found her partner for Hulu’s The X-Files reboot, as Himesh Patel (The Odyssey, Yesterday) is set to join Hulu’s reboot of the classic TV series.

Insiders close to the show say Deadwyler and Patel will be playing new original characters in the series that hails from Sinners filmmaker Ryan Coogler, who is writing and directing the pilot for the new X-Files.
