© MuscleMemory   They probably wanted to make up for past controversies. black guys were denied the title until 1970[ melvin wells, arthur harris,sergio oliva, harold poole among others], and hoffman was pretty much a non-factor by 1977 [he had heart bypass surgery.] and pretty much didn't care who won the title. I thought david johns should have beaten kal skalak in 1976. IMHO.

I`m certainly not calling you a liar, but I`ve heard the same stupid stories about Arnold and Sergio eating handfuls of D-Bol like they were M&M`s.....I find it ridiculous and hard to believe.

Let me elaborate by saying the amount of similar stories I`ve heard regarding "handfuls or entire bottles of D-Bol being ingested" would have had these dudes breaking out bottles of D-Bol constantly, and in front of tons of people, all the time, when in those days most people kept gear use private or denied taking it at all.......ask yourself why

Even Dave Mastorakis personally told me Mike Mentzer kept his early gear use a secret from him and Ray Mentzer when they trained together in the early days of their training partnership

Dave and Ray were making zero progress, and  Mike was getting huge, so they asked him his "secret" and he finally told them he was on the juice.
