But that would require guiding AI to a higher standard than it currently is and a more well connected reach/assimilation.  Which would be more Elon's game since he is basically putting it into cars, Starlink and space travel.  You could be right though, I don't really know much about Altman.

In Tech he's not.  Google developed AI, but didn't commercialize it so the public couldn't get their hands on it.  Sam Altman and OpenAI commercialized it and released it to the masses.  ChatGPT was released to the public on November 30, 2022.  The rest is history and he's viewed as a visionary.   Google was caught off guard as was the rest of tech.

Elon dislikes Altman because OpenAI was supposed to be open source.  Sam changed it to closed and is getting ready to go public, so is Anthropic.  I'm not giving any investing advice, but keep your eye on both of these IPO's.
