Bodybuilding Legend Albert Beckles, “The Ageless One,” Dies at 95

Albert “Al” Beckles, the Barbados-born British bodybuilder known as “The Ageless One,” has died at 95.

RxMuscle announced his passing on Instagram on May 16, 2026. Beckles’ career ran through British amateur shows, IFBB Universe contests, the Night of Champions, Grand Prix events, World Pro Championships, and 13 Mr. Olympia appearances.

Damn, I was beginning to think that he was immortal.  RIP.

The guy had such a weird career, but he was so damn good in his prime.

Beckles was known for messing with his year of birth, so no idea how old he really was.

He did stupid things, but survived. If I remember correctly his heart stopped due to an injecting with insulin at a European BB contest in the 1980s?

A doctor was backstage and saved his life

Attention:
Another early death due to steroids.
Who knows how long he might have lived if he had stayed natty.
