Clarence Bass is still alive Brother Bone......his hairline however has been long gone !!

This guy won just about everything but the Olympia (even there he placed 2nd to Haney). And from some of his training video, he appears a lot stronger than he looks.

He would have looked a lot younger in his heyday, if he had just shaved his head completely bald. Nonetheless, a Hall of Fame bodybuilder is gone.

Yeah, that's what gets me about this guy. Beckles was incredibly muscular -- and he also looked athletic. Like he could run for a mile or two without dropping dead. (Lunsford and Dauda would definitely drop dead.)

Pretty close to the ideal male physique, IMO.

The older I get, the more I realize that there's nothing desirable about monstrous bulbous lats or giant turnip-shaped quads.

Vince Gironda thought that the thigh should be as thick up top as middle and lower part. He thought regular squats caused the turnip shape. Complete baloney I say, it's all genetic. Of course he thought his own quad shape was ideal and that he consciously caused that shape

Beckles, Labrada, Paris, Oliva, Padilla, Benfatto, Jeffers. I don’t think any of the current pros are able to run.
