Victor Wembanyama is the new face of the NBA. The refs will not get in his way.

During the playoff series against the Timberwolves, Wembanyama brutally elbowed an opposing player in the throat. 

The average NBA player would have been suspended for the remainder of the series. Not Wembanyama. Wemby was ejected from the game, and he received no suspension.
