I don’t think you believe this.

Ronnie is the biggest genetic freak ever, but the mythology around Ronnie is hilarious. he wasn’t drug free when he turned pro. He also didn’t start winning shows because Kevin had him drink tequila. Chad Nichols was the difference.

According to Lee he barely used anabolics because when he did use a large amount he experienced more side effects then benefits. But he will then tell stories of doing so much blow that he let a dude suck him off, but apparently there wasn’t any side effects with the rec drug use.

These guys think that they are telling stories for flex magazine .

I don't think it's mythology. Ronnie's peers have consistently vouched for him. Brian Dobson, the owner of MetroFlex gym, has touted that Ronnie was natural. We all know the story of how he turned pro: He was the only heavyweight to pass the drug test to get picked to represent the USA at the 1991 World Amateur Bodybuilding/Mr. Universe contest, where he won his weight class (there was no overall that year; Weiders were still trying to get bodybuilding IOC recognition at the time). That qualified him for the 1992 Olympia where he placed "16th".

Ronnie had won a show or two prior to 1997. But he was seen as the "best of the rest". That is, until he upset Flex in the Canada Pro Cup show.

As for that one overseas Grand Prix show that Ronnie won, denying Kevin Levrone his clean sweep, that sounds like a case of Ronnie just holding a bit too much water. Kevin got him pickled with that vodka-coffee thing; it ran the water right out of him; and he nipped Kevin in that Russian show. Kevin beat Ronnie one last time at the 1998 San Francisco Pro show; Ronnie returned the favored at the Toronto Pro show and Night of Champions......YOU KNOW THE REST!!!! ;D

LOL I'm not sure what that means but I laughed.

For a while there you were longing to do synthol to add "scar tissue" to your arms which is gay and lame as fuck.  You are(were?) ok with the "modern standard" of bodybuilding being a bunch of injectable implant bullshit and said something along the lines of pros nowadays "need" an extra rear delt head of oil which is again lame and gay as fuck.  So if your views remain the same, some douchebag could show up on stage being nothing but PMMA, synthol and implants(and zero steroids) and you'd say he's best because you long to have fake oil filled arms.

Is it truly possible for a heavyweight athleteover 220lbto reach the top tier of professional bodybuilding without any performanceenhancing drugs? What training, nutrition, and recovery strategies would be essential, and have any realworld examples proven it can be done?

There’s nothing I can say if you think he won the show in 1991 to win his pro card.  Has Brian Dobson ever talked about Ronnie’s contest regimen? Or only that he was drug free when he joined his gym? Obviously he was drug free at one point but when do you think he started using PEDS, after 1992?
