Arnold hardly spoke any English in the late 1960s. And he was living in Germany or Austria at the time. I don't think it was possible for him to follow English media closely. (Who did not report about savile's digusting life until 2012)

I'm 100% certain that Arnold did not know about savile's abuse, and probably had never heard of him at all. And guessed he was some kind of loony clown, based on jimmy's appearance.

I just can't remember now who it was ..but I remember reading that they saw Paul Graham walking around in his underwear at Arnold’s pad.
