Look at how many people visiting the country say how they've been lied to by the media and love it here.
Depends on the media you are listening to. I saw a lot of the World Cup people here from England, Portugal, Argentina, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, etc. a lot do like it here, as far as “vacation,” but they wouldn’t live here, said it’s nice in small dosages.
The media if you are watching right leaning politics will cherry pick all the “I love USA” narratives to fit their agenda. Same thing happens with left leaning channels, but the opposite end
