My wife pays for my dinners, literally. She buys all the groceries, gets carry-out. Sometimes she'll ask if I can go pick up some carry-out, and will leave her card so I can pay with it - lol! 

I pay all the bigger things, like insurance, property taxes, phone, internet, tv, electrical, etc. She does pay the water bill though at least. Overall I am getting rolled here and paying for most of the stuff. Our home is about paid off, but I also made more payments than she has. But she's helped pay it off as well, at least.

Most guys that get married get soft and let it slip ''Betazation by a thousand Concessions'' Women will test men all the time, its in their nature, as a man you have to be like a lion tamer i.e always in charge and alert.

Its in your best interest to nip any sign of disrespect from a women in the bud  (zero tolerance for eye rolling, being argumentative/contentious, nagging, being dismissive, controlling, behavior that makes you feel unheard, undervalued, or walking on eggshells. etc)
