In my area we have Circle K’s. Does anybody ever notice the majority of people that walk into these stores always head right toward the fountain drink section for those soda? Polar pops is what they are called. Apparently, that’s the biggest seller lol what’s with all these fat fucks drinking all that soda that’s gross anybody else notice it?
Soda prices have gone up everywhere. $1 for 64 ounces is probably the cheapest they can get. Depending on your state, some state actually have a soda tax which makes it even more expensive. Sounds like the Circle K is using it as a loss leader because they know people will buy something else with it as well
This was standard practice in the 80's with the Big Gulp. McDonald's used to get involved too with $1 large drinks. With soda prices what they are in the store for a 12 pack and the Summer heat, it makes perfect sense.
There was a whole episode in the Movie Super Size me where the dietician is talking about people drinking their calories.
