I don't know much about Brand but I got curious, has he been accused of being a Russian asset, so I googled. Sure enough, he has. However, when getting conspiratorial you also have to consider that he may be controlled opposition LOL. Case in point: Tucker Carlson has been accused of being a Russian asset. Or he's a Qatari asset, he's Tucker Qatarlson. But, many conspiracy theorists think Tucker is actually a CIA operation haha. Tucker's father was CIA so Tucker is CIA as well, he's controlled opposition. He wouldn't have this platform if he was really a Russian asset, or if he was really, actually, antisemitic, he would have had an accident.

I do believe intelligence operations are a real thing in the social media world. Sometimes assets are taken down when they have served their purpose or become inconvenient. Some people are assets without even knowing it, that happens too, they may be influenced, their ideas may be shaped by assets, without knowing their friends are assets
I haven't checked it out yet, but I heard mention of a new Netflix movie or "documentary" about the Unabomber. The premise is that he volunteered to take part in some psychological experiment at University I think. He didn't know it was a CIA operation; the purpose was to find out what it took to break down a man. I haven't even gotten around to reading his manifesto in full but many say it's very "intelligent." I even printed it out to some coworker while at work LOL.
