I work in the medical claims & preauthorizations dept for a major health insurance company.  I fax shit everyday....and why do I care???   As long as it makes money.

As far as AI goes, its helped me tremondously in business and saved a shitload of money
Maybe you can use all that money you saved to pay off your mounting debt.

Its no longer mounting.   Its in check now but once the tariff issue is out, people will buy again

LOL I thought the same thing but my insurance company has told me I can fax over paperwork a few times, fag.

Simple yet elicited a chuckle.  Welcome back to 1979.  LOL.

People are incline to do things face to face rather then calling someone up...especially the elderly.  They love having someone help them fill out the paperwork.

Yes I'm sure there's a line of elderly people waiting to fill out paperwork at the flea market for GLP-1s.

If I were Vince I'd grind up some crystal meth and put in gel caps and sell it as "ICE VVV The #1 Premium Bee Pollen Energy Supplement chosen by CEOs." Pass out samples at the flea market and I bet you'll get some orders for the full size bottles.

Vince has a point.  Elderly Black people are more likely to trust one of their own, especially one with a soothing dulcet voice like Goodrum, over the overworked foreigner PCP who spends 5minutes per appointment before running out to see the next patient.

I dunno the details of his business so I can’t say if it’s viable or not but I think his strategy is sound.

Ok maybe, but I still have my doubts about them doing it at the flea market but I don't know.

I'm a total loser so who am I to speak but Vince seems very crafty and not lazy and is utilizing latest tech and is setting up new businesses left and right for so long so why hasn't he hit the big times yet? What do Getbiggers think?

It’s hard to make much money as a business with no employees.  You need some kind of exclusive, desirable skills & knowledge for that.  Like a dentist or an accountant.

If you don’t have any special skills or knowledge, the primary way to make money as a small business owner is to employ workers and profit off their labor.  I think he would have come much further if he had started a business with a low bar of entry like Window washing, power washing, waste removal, painting, etc, and hired employees on.  I don’t get the impression Goodrum is much of a laborer, though.

I’d love nothing more than for Vince to become filthy stinking rich —if only for the meltdowns it would cause—but given his chosen lane of being a middleman for e-commerce I don’t think it’ll ever happen.

OK I hear you.

Though I read about this yesterday:

Quote
A growing number of solo entrepreneurs are scaling artificial intelligence companies to millions in revenue with zero full-time employees. For instance, solo founder Ben Broca built an AI enterprise targeting 10,000 customers and $10 million in revenue operating as the sole person on staff.

Then the details emerged and he had 30 mil from investors and he's probably actually losng money, at least for now :D

We have watched Goodrum post many, many schemes and businesses since at least 2000. Remember how he boasted about Bitcoin. He was onto something but because HE posted about it most people here ignored that avenue to make money. So did Goodrum. He can bullshit all day and night long. In business it all comes down to the bottom line. Goodrum posted that he is $25,000 in debt. In other words his businesses have failed. Same as always. He is a dreamer and lives alone in his abode. A sad place to be when he should be thinking about retiring.

Vince:

I'm still a bit perplexed as to why you needed to physically be at this flea market. I looked at photos online, and this flea market looks really good. I wish we had something like that up here in CT. All the photos I saw are of vendors selling physical items.

You're not selling any physical items. You just have a poster board with a website suggestion. Couldn't you just use a thumbtack to hang your business card or a pamphlet on a grocery store community bulletin board? Or put flyers under windshield wipers on cars in parking lots? Or staple a paper on a telephone pole?

You really have no qualms about your encouragement of 85 year old frail elderly people jabbing needles just to lose a bit of weight?
Instead of encouraging elderly folks to jab a needle in order to lose weight, how about you explain to them the alternative? Eating less calories and exercise?
Why don't you let them know that everyone is able to lose weight and that GLPs are not the only solution for weight loss?

Instead of signing people up for GLPS and faxing their paperwork, why don't you offer them food scales, dietician referrals, and personal training sessions?
Why don't you visit local retirement homes and host weight loss classes/summits that teach proper eating and exercise habits?

why is god omnipotent? some questions are only revealed to us when life draws to a close. no vince no business. it really is that simple.

business and success is all about gut instinct and self belief.

there are crossroads throughout life.

vhs vs betamax? vince went all in $1100 on betamax
dvd vs laserdisc- vince was all over the lasers before you could say pirate copies of ET
vince was a board advisor to blockbuster video when they rebuffed netflix many years ago

people listen to vince

then go the other way. as does he, ironically.

Looking at the kuntawellness website, it’s clear that the medications are prescribed by licensed doctors. Those doctors surely take a holistic approach rather than simply pushing pills. So why should Vince insert himself between patients and their own physicians?

It’s classic outside sales: meet people and build a rapport, get their info, follow up later and hope to close the deal. People, especially older minorities, are more likely to trust and do business with someone they’ve met in real life who looks and talks like them.  It’s hard work and there will be lots of “no thank you” but ultimately it’s a numbers game.  Meet enough people and you will eventually make some sales.

I believe Vince is an older minority, so this does makes sense. And I seriously would not want to be around when someone makes the mistake of telling him "no". I just thought he would want to help his community and give them back the power to control their health through healthy diet and exercise.

Healthy diet and exercise is definitely the best way, no argument here.  Many people just aren’t able to make that work for them.  And for those people, using a GLP1 is better than staying obese.

Goodrum, do you think Basile should have acted otherwise in the situation with Arnold and the babysitter?
