Growth Hormone
« on: May 08, 2006, 12:14:10 PM »
I was under the impression that taking growth hormone at the age of 20 would be useless.  Since at that age your body already produces alot of it.  But I know a few linebackers who got absolutly huge from taking the stuff.  Can anyone explain that?

It depends on how much you take. At 20 yrs old your body is still naturally producing GH somewhere to the equivalent of 4-6iu every day. If you took this much GH by way of injection you would not see any results because all you would have done is replaced your natural production with the purchased GH. You would have to take some where in the 8-12 iu every day to see results...this would cost you a fortune.

Agreed, they're using steroids, likely unintelligently with no PCT.  This question should be on the Steroid board, should it not?

i'm 20 myself, and was on GH for 6 month. If YOU DO decide to research up on it, one thing i would advise is to avoid before bed injections. Even though there is'nt much solid evidence that GH before bed WILL interfere with your natural GH production (taking note, night time, deep sleep, is when GH is at its natural highest in the body) i still personally always avoid it. I believe it does supress post cycle, and will lower the bodies natural release for a modertae period of time.

Always inject first thing, and around lunch (if splitting the dose).

I would not burn through resources
(with HGH) at much younger than 30  :-\
not IF you are healthy and vital.

Agreed always or routinely did at night.
I got (and get) better results.

Not sure of the mechanisms and exactly why . . .
felt like I could drive my food intake
(force feed) better in the day, in turn
realized greater tissue fullness
throughout the day . . .

It (in my case) helped me at the end of program . . .
seemed to maitain my gains better.

I call bullshit on you Arnold.

Nobody gets "huge" on GH.

Perhaps if they are megadosing on AAS too, but not GH alone.

Even with that they'd probably be using in excess of 8IU ed.....which is not recommended.

I think those linebackers are lyin'.

I realized this after the first few months of using it.. Overrated and I looked better without it..
How long and how much did you use? Did you use it with AAS? How did you look bad?

Falacy . . . word one . . .

You have to take over a  p r o t r a c t e d  period
to realize ANY real gains usually cuts me, "thins me"
makes me tighter - NOT huge like posted elsewhere.

I have (great experience) not measured in months
I have used routinely (smaller doses) for the past
5 years and IT HAS IN FACT changed my physique.
Better definition, "more muscle headiness" places
that may have been considered, genetic deficiencies
(or under developed) have really popped in the past
few years.

HGH is NOT for everyone and IT cost a hell-of-a-lot
of money that for most would be better spent on
basic general AAS like test, deca etc.

Be prepared to spend thousands of dollars over
an extended period of time to see any notable
improvements and combine with other agents
to realize the best result.

It's about time you showed up, Michael.

The forum has missed you.

I agree with you on this.

The point he made though, was that these guys who took GH got "huge" on it which is bullshit.

You don't get huge on GH.

GH + AAS + Insulin + IGF-1.........perhaps......but that's what IFBB pros are in.

Thank you for the kind words BIG MAN . . .
I have tired of the argumentative nature
of some that sometimes post here.

Excessive EGO bloat - worst case here . . .

Everyone has a valid point of view - at times
others NOT at times . . . lifes too short.

Geting huge on HgH - like you said it has more to do
with the entire program. Without getting in a pissing
contest. I do not agree with (some) sources posted.

What few people realize is the IS a certain *bloat*
or edema that WILL make you puffy lasting for a short
period (2-3 days) which is an indication that IT IS
real and working. The puffy look goes away after
you quit taking. I would gain a 1/4" around my wrist.
And my frikin shoes would fit tight - irrespective of
the AAS that are routinely a part of my program.

hey mem!  Welcome back.  Hope you'll stay.  Your experience was missed here.

I've learned only to respond to certain types of questions, and to avoid the commments of some who consistently bring the board down.  I still think it's a great way to share knowledge, though.

There's more to growth hormone than just building muscle.

It's anti aging properties are second to none...........
