Nah, Kamala wouldn't have closed the border.

I think that's much worse than Iran and has greater downstream effect.

I didn’t say that. I said what’s coming after Trump will be worse than 4 years of Kamala. Closing the border and deporting is one of the very few promises that he actually came through with. The coping of bringing up “welllll at least it’s not Kamala” is pure cuckery

It could’ve all been avoided by not going to war with Iran and focusing on the economy, but at least it’s not Kamala for these 4 years right guys?

Admittedly, I did miss the "after" part, however I don't believe anything is near set in stone.

The left is consuming itself.  The party has no idea what it is.

And this admin is roughly 40% old, so there's plenty of time for things to change.

Lmao! I forgot about the promise of ending the war in Ukraine on day 1! I’m sure the roidheaded oatmeal brain doesn’t recall that one either. How about free IVF? The list is endless. He spouted out anything to get elected and failed on nearly 100% of his promises so far.

“If I’m president, I will have that war settled in one day, 24 hours.”

“Under the Trump administration, your government will pay for — or your insurance company will be mandated to pay for — all costs associated with IVF treatment.”

The level of brainwashing is off the charts with the few that are still hanging on. Pathetic!

Trumpy on the campaign trail - "Only I can fix it.  I will do it on Day One"

Day One Arrives - .....

Trumpy on Day 500 - "It's all Obama's fault!"

It could’ve all been avoided by not going to war with Iran and focusing on the economy, but at least it’s not Kamala for these 4 years right guys? The result after Trump will be way worse than 4 years of Kamala. The dude had a mandate and fuckin’ blew it and the beta thing to do is cope and say well at least a Democrat isn’t in the White House right now. I know it’s hard for the white boomers here, but we need to stop focusing on party politics. We’re not voting our way out of this.

Here’s the thing dude. We can go back forth with all day and I think I can pretty much make my case but let’s face it, you’re to the point like every other weak minded republican that’s turned on Trump and let’s face it, the entire administration that no matter what’s shown, what indicators actually shows in comparison, who said it or who didn’t say it, you’re not going be convinced of anything because of the blind hatred from what I’m assuming is from media, the turncoats republicans you kept citing in the war thread that lead you on with conspiracy theories, etc.

I think you said you have your own business? If that’s the case, what part of basic economics are you not understanding because it goes waaaaaay deeper that what you see in the grocery store (prices are down) and at the gas pump. I don’t know what state you’re in but I’ve traveled out of state enough this past year to know it ain’t that bad considering we’re in a war time economy. California is another story. Come live here for awhile, pay the prices here even when when not in wartime.

You made some fucking ridiculous comment about importing Argentinian beef from some bullshit taking point that someone made a big deal of from wherever you get your info from who probably didn’t tell you (so I will) that we’ve been importing beef for well over a century…billions of pounds. Or the other bullshit talking point that “Trump started a new way” what a crock of shit. I’ve brought this before, you voted it. He said it 40 years ago and for three election cycles. It’s not our problem you didn’t pay attention (for three election cycles) that was a main bullet point on his campaigns.

But isn't it funny that with all of this doom and gloom by the RINO right wing pundits and whack jobs leftists that the markets are at record highs??

As far as anything else. Dude hasn’t even finished his second year in his term. Maybe you expect instant gratification.

Cultist Magatard is tired of propaganda yet all he does is post propaganda. You responded with zero substance or facts. Lmao!

That's right, the cheapest, most cringe propaganda and conspiracy theories. Whatever I reference it's always conspiracy theories (in the pejorative sense, everyone believes in CTs) or "I stopped reading at..." The man claims to be a diligent researcher and fact finder and very well read. I'd like for him to present some sources, whether it's authors, ideologues, thought leaders, intellectuals, geopolitics experts, anyone he considers to be good, reliable sources of information. List some good books on politics or whatever, I'd like to educate myself. Of course we know there's likely nothing, just twitter posts about dead Iranian "leaders" and Centcom claims about free flowing oil and rage bait about librulz.

It's the ignorance coupled with the staggering arrogance! LOL. According to him he's delivering ass beatings on here on the daily.

Can you imagine someone actually saying Trump fulfilled most of his promises? At least Grape says he's only had 1.5 years and we have to wait and see haha. I think many invested emotionally so heavily in Trump as the savior that they now have had to create an alternate reality in their minds so they don't unravel completely :D

Why am I even commenting on Trump not even being American, what gives me the right?! Hate to state the obvious but Trump's decisions affect the whole world. In his desperation he's now several times threatened to nuke Iran. It all could get much, much worse. It's looking like Trump's legacy will be that he finally ended the American empire, American world hegemony. He's not even managed to finish off Iran. Imagine a war with Russia or China.

For anyone who might care, something I just read regarding Ukraine.

Quote
August 28, 2026

MEMORANDUM FOR: The President

FROM: Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)

SUBJECT: Dangerous Talk of Putin’s ‘Loss’ in Ukraine

Dear President Trump:

The New York Times is reporting that the outlook for Russia in Ukraine is “bleak.” C.I.A. Director John Ratcliffe is said to have explained that to the Russians while in Moscow Tuesday. He reportedly urged them “to cut a deal before their military and economic situation gets worse.”

We write you on the chance you may be taken in by this latest song and dance. We believe it is orchestrated by the same kind of geniuses who told President Joe Biden to announce on July 13, 2023, in a major speech in Helsinki, that the Russians had “already lost the war” in Ukraine.

We suggest that you “kick the tires,” if they try to sell you that same car. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your predecessor was ill-served by intelligence. We suspect you are getting the same tendentious treatment from your own advisers. Indeed, many of them seem unconscionably relaxed about risking wider war with Russia over Ukraine.

We offer you, as we offered Biden, the following jogs to memory:

December 3, 2022: “Russia is using up ammunition quite quickly. It’s pretty extraordinary. Our sense is that Russia is not capable of indigenously producing what they are expending at this stage.” (National Intelligence Director Avril Haines)

March 18, 2022: “Russia has lost in Ukraine. The West should recognize this Russian defeat.” (Anatol Lieven, Quincy Institute)

July 1 & July 7, 2023: “Putin’s war has already been a strategic failure for Russia – its military weaknesses laid bare; its economy badly damaged for years to come.” (C.I.A. Director William Burns)

The Church of Latter-Day Pundits

Two NY Times journalists who specialize in intelligence matters report Thursday that this latest version of the Russia-has-already-lost story is “the current C.I.A. director’s assessment.” They warn somewhat quizzically that, despite this, President Putin might ignore it “and choose to keep fighting.” But why would Putin do that?

Indeed, the Gray Lady and her intelligence sources seem quite baffled by why Putin would keep trying when, according to U.S. officials and pundits, he started losing three and a half years ago and continues to lose. Could it possibly be that it was they that were wrong – terribly wrong?

Dismissing that as a possibility, they perform a somersault, straighten up, and chose to blame Putin’s advisers who, the Times says, have not “given Putin honest assessments of the war’s trajectory and toll.”

If Black Humor is at work here, we do not find it funny. The slaughter in Ukraine brings hundreds of victims daily.

Russia is methodically advancing in Donbass along a thousand-mile front, it is weathering drone attacks on its oil and civilian infrastructure with enhanced interception and has enforced a virtual blockade on Ukraine’s largest port, Odessa, with withering aerial attacks. Ukraine’s manpower and interceptor shortages make it impossible for it to ever recover its lost territory, as you acknowledged after your meeting with President Putin in Alaska.

Mr. President, if you were given access to reality-based, honest intelligence, you would be able to decide for yourself whose advisers have gotten it right over these past five years. And, once apprised of the reality on ground (and in the air), you might choose to do what is in your power to end the disaster in Ukraine.

Déjà Vu

This is not the first time we advised a president to seek unbiased advice with a view toward avoiding unnecessary, catastrophic war. We did that just a few hours after Colin Powell’s deceptive presentation to the U.N. Security Council on February 5, 2003.

Today, we strongly suggest that you broaden your circle of advisers, as we urged President George W. Bush to do then, in our first VIPS Memorandum, which ended with this recommendation:

“After watching Secretary Powell today, we are convinced that you would be well served if you widened the discussion beyond the circle of those advisers clearly bent on a war for which we see no compelling reason and from which we believe the unintended consequences are likely to be catastrophic.”

FOR THE STEERING GROUP, VETERAN INTELLIGENCE PROFESSIONALS FOR SANITY (VIPS)

Fulton Armstrong, former National Intelligence Officer (ret.)

Marshall Carter-Tripp, Foreign Service Officer (ret.); Division Director, State Department Bureau of Intelligence and Research
Philip Giraldi, C.I.A., Operations Officer (ret.)

Matthew Hoh, former Capt., USMC, Iraq and Foreign Service Officer, Afghanistan (associate VIPS)

Larry C. Johnson, former C.I.A. and State Department Counter Terrorism officer

John Kiriakou, former C.I.A. Counterterrorism Officer and former senior investigator, Senate Foreign Relations Committee

Karen Kwiatkowski, former Lt. Col., U.S. Air Force (ret.), at Office of Secretary of Defense watching the manufacture of lies on Iraq, 2001-2003

Douglas MacGregor, Colonel, USA (ret.) (associate VIPS)
Ray McGovern, former U.S. Army infantry/intelligence officer & C.I.A. analyst; C.I.A. Presidential briefer (ret.)

I’ve noticed that you didn’t actually answer anything in that long-winded response and have avoided my other post. So which of the campaign promises that I posted did he come through with? Notice how you never answer anything? It’s just broad-sweeping assumptions about me that are usually wrong. You never provide concrete evidence or argue what’s actually being argued. Forget the beef. Did Trump end the war in Ukraine? Has he made housing more affordable? What are the statuses of the tariff and DOGE checks? Have energy prices been cut in half yet? These were all campaign promises and he currently has a mandate which will be gone soon, so he’s running out of time. “For a wartime economy” lmao! Yeah, a self-inflected war foolishly in which he was pushed in by “our greatest ally”. Here’s the thing, dude. You don’t debate with anything factual. It must be the naive boomer in you that still listens and believes the newsman on TV and get all excited over culture war bullshit. I’ve never seen you criticize Trump once which is very telling. Be a free-thinker. Be a man for once.

Easily. But like I said. What’s the point. Here’s the other thing. The ONLY we lose the midterms is if Republicans don’t get out and vote. At this point I don’t see you doing that unless you’re voting left. If you are a republican and you don’t vote and we lose you can without a doubt expect Biden 10 fold. If that’s the case you would have no room to complain about ANYTHING

Trump’s approval rating is in the tank and it’ll show come midterms. The Republican base is the most disenchanted and defeated than they’ve ever felt in my lifetime. Getting out and vote ain’t gonna happen. Dems are currently at an 89% chance of taking the House. Mark my words. It’s not going to be close.

Which only proves this isn't political for him, meaning the war. I saw that polimarket this morning but I would bet the house if the republicans get the vote out not only would we win like in 24', we pick up enough seats to carry us to at least the midterms in 2030. There is war going on the Dem party right now. Yesterday there was vote in the house for Socialism. It lost but 192 Dems voted for it.
