I’ll never cancel my membership!
I’ve always had a gym membership. I’ve also always wanted a home gym. I had plans to build a small home gym. I bought all the MAG Grip attachments, but ended up selling them on Craigslist to a jacked and tan bald man in a Jeep with NY plates one morning.
Then I bought a safety squat bar. It was a pain to load it in my car each time to go to the gym. Those bars are heavier than I thought and I needed to put it on my shoulders as I walked down my sidewalk and street to my car. And this time, I had a bad bee issue so I had to park my car a bit farther away from my residence as I would have liked to. Some neighbors did state stare at me as I did walking lunges to my car with the SSB on my shoulders. They also were the same folks who watched me as I sprayed for bees in my beekeepers suit. When I didn’t need to bring the bar to the gym, I left it on my living room floor. I did trip over it frequently, and was regretted my purchase because I changed my mind on my home gym.
Even though I still want a home gym, I question if I would even use it if I had it. I like going to the gym and leaving my residence. I’m usually at the gym by myself after midnight. The only people at the gym when I’m there are the mysterious elderly man, the people who live in the Scooby Do camper van out front the gym and come in to shower, a guy who only comes to the gym to go in the private bathroom for 1 hour, and a European hitchhiker who rides a scooter to the gym.
