Didn't go full retard at all. Had Trump kept his promises he wouldn't be in this mess. Iran War, Epstein Files and affordability were on the ballot last night. What were voters supposed to do, vote for 2 more years of this?

They absolutely went full retard given some of the candidates that got in.  As stated, expected the losses, but not all of them.

But what do you expect these newly elected folks will accomplish?

The Republicans better hope and pray the Democratic Senator Talarico fucking sucks because if he's good or even significantly better than Paxton (easy to do). They will not sniff the Oval Office.

And unless some Supreme Court Justices retire between  now and Jan. They won't be replacing them with new Conservative leaning judges. And that includes in 2028.

Paxton was a shit candidate so that's on them.  Talarico is a fag though.  Let's see what he does.

SC is an issue for sure, because Sotomayer and Brown are proven retards who rule off emotion, and if there's more of them added, it's actually a real problem.

First. We have to stop calling them Democrats. There are very few actual good Democrats left. At best, they are socialists. Michigan elected a communist, radical Islamist that's antisemitic with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Texas elected woke beta that believes Jesus is non-binary, we have 6 different genders and men should be in women's sports.

California elected a governor that will carry on Newsom's tear down of California and most importantly while head of HHS who opened the border to let in and lose over 400k children most who have likely been s*x trafficked into the US...but lets talk about the "Epstein files" (insert eye roll here). They have no plan for this "affordability" excuse considering literally everything is still lower than during the fake Biden administration. Wait until they try cut funding for our military.

Nonsense.   This is all God's Will.  Who are you to question the grand plan of the sky fairy?

Stopping support to Israel for one. For two, strengthening SS, Medicare and other social programs. AI and other technologies are eliminating a lot of jobs and work in general. Cutting benefits as people have fewer chances for income is disastrous.

So, since they have allowed massive governmental waste and fraud to perpetuate, how are they going to strengthen SS, Medicare and other social programs?  How are folks like James Talarico and El Sayed going to do this?

They will try to tax us more.

Governmental waste, fraud and abuse can still be cut. This is why we have a 2 party system. Checks and balances. If the libtards fuck up, vote them out in 2 years.

For sure.

But they've never corrected the stuff you mentioned in the past, so not sure how a more progressive/radical group of Democrats will.

I have consistently said I'd judge Trump's Presidency after his full term.  I will give this new crop the same benefit.  It's just that some of these folks don't like the country they've been elected to represent.

The markets seemed to like the results, for now.

I think the markets are OK because they do not think anything will be accomplished by the Democrats with a Republican president wielding a veto. I think if the Democrats win the presidency while controlling the House and Senate then the markets won't like it.

Here's what's I think will happen. The left will go back to the same woke destructive bullshit they got cleaned up on in 2024. Nothing has changed  as a matter of fact over the last two years they've doubled and tripled down on that and then another election in 2028.

That's where your problem lies.  Trying to think.  You are not very good at it.

For the next two years, Trumpy is going to be the lamest lame duck President that ever was.  Enjoy your tears.

'This is a disaster': Angry Republicans blame Trump for midterms defeat

Inside the Republican Party, initial shock at the stunning election results on Tuesday night quickly gave way to anger with US President Donald Trump.

After Democrats won upset after upset in deep-red states like Texas, Kansas and South Carolina, some Republicans focused their ire on Trump, arguing that his focus on his legacy and indifference to voter concerns cost the party control of Congress.

"It's on him. It's not on anybody else. It's a total, complete rejection of President Trump," Bill Miller, a top Republican lobbyist in Texas, told the BBC. "This is a disaster of the first magnitude. Nobody saw it coming like this."

Most Republicans expected to lose control of the House and were clear-eyed about the challenge of holding onto the Senate in a tough election cycle that favoured the party out of power.

But some said in interviews that Trump dragged them down with unpopular policies, a low job approval rating and obsession over construction projects in Washington.

"It was just one mistake after another," said Gregg Peppin, a Republican strategist in Minnesota. "Clearly, in state after state, people did not like the president's policies."

A White House ally said public disapproval with Trump over the Iran war, tariffs and the administration's immigration crackdown created a "perfect storm" in November.

"There's palpable frustration [within] the party about how this has all played out," the person said, and much of it is directed at Trump. Anger with Trump "is extremely high".

Republicans need to make room under their tent for free market, free enterprise capitalists who are not pro-Israel. They don’t even have to accommodate people who are actively anti-Israel. The party has been strikingly exclusionary on this issue.

Look at what happened to Massie. He was never anti-Israel. He simply wasn’t pro-Israel. Outside money flooded in to end his congressional career. They purged him for deviating from the prevailing party line.

There is a fight coming between capitalism and socialism and that approach is a liability. Republicans need to build a broad enough coalition to win it.

Epic deflection AGAIN from Trumpy and his utter failure to generate interest or even sympathy in his own party at midterms.  These midterms were a complete referendum of the country's view of Trumpy right now.  As in the historic low polling number he was/is sitting at wasn't a big enough clue.

It's like that in every country. Local elections are used by voters to state how they feel about national politics. Trump totally fucked his own party, and the USA with his stupid war, high energy prices, rising interest rates and his billionaire boyfriends.

Because of Trumps stupidity you now have communists, islamic fundamentalists, and anti Western whites elected. My condolences    ;D

Yeah I didn't care for what they did to Massie.

But, did he ever list the names in the Epstein files he said he was going to with Ro Khana?  Or was it MTG?

The communist left have literally no plans on how implement their agenda on "affordability". It's a false agenda considering almost everything is still lower than during the fake Biden days. Most who voted left have literally no idea nor do they care on what they voted for as long as it was against Trump. Open borders, LGBTQ bullshit and everything that's woke will be back, military budgets will be cut and, like last fake administration America will be last (if they get their way).

  CALMATE, REPUBLICANS!!!

Trump remains president for the next two years. Deal with it, Democrats.
A Democrat House has no powers to prosecute. The DOJ will not indict. Impeachment will not lead to a Trump conviction and expulsion from office.
Stupid tax, spend and legislation will be vetoed—and won’t be overridden.
After there is some sort of resolution of the Iran War, gas prices will drop like a stone.
And by the way, the threat of a nuclear armed Iran will be substantially diminished, if not eliminated. Thank you, President Trump.
It’ll be fun watching Speaker Hakeem Jeffries try to control the crazy DSA/socialist/antisemitic caucus— and enact legislation to improve “affordability” as “affordability” is being improved despite the lack of legislation.
The economy is already growing—and will soon kick into an even higher gear.
For the next two years, the economy will continue to fire on all cylinders, while  inflation and gas prices fall the moment the Iran War ends.
What will the Democrats’ argument be then? Raise taxes on “the rich”? “Medicare-for-All”? “Trump is a Nazi”?
Given that Democrats opposed no tax on tips, opposed no tax on overtime, opposed no tax on Social Security and refused to expand school choice, etc., Democrats cannot possibly take credit for the Trump/Republican economy.
They cannot possibly, with a straight face, take credit for the huge, and by recent standards, upcoming unprecedented growth in the economy.
The Republican 2028 presidential nominee—whether Vance or Rubio—will have a hell of a strong argument about the economy and “affordability.“
See you in 2028!

- Larry Elder

Coach this is the problem.

They are issuing this statement because of their failures. The republicans had control and they didn’t make things better like they promised. Taking over Venezuela should have been the “trump” card for oil prices, even with the war in Iran, did they use that to their advantage to reduce fuel costs? They failed, miserably.

Now if things improve who gets the credit? Not the republicans. They screwed up, they should have acknowledged the situation and explained the situation and said they needed more time to continue improvements.

Encouraging division is a stupid tactic.

It baffles me with freaks like Coach or whoever here would be the Democrat version. They're spiritually beholdened to these parties and exhibit cult like behavior. It's crazy to witness because in other aspects of their life, they're seemingly normal.

When I was a young man, I remember I heard somewhere,  "make them earn your vote". If you're a party member,  for the most part they feel like they don't have to win you over and can sell you bullshit and you'll buy it, because you're soul tied to the party.
