That said - he’s not really facing much competition.  If I had to bet, I’d say Newsom is the 2028 candidate, solely on the basis of his presidential appearance.  My dark horse candidate is Hunter Biden.  He’s got too much baggage to overcome, but he comes across as charming and authentic, and america loves a comeback story.
