So, obviously, Flex is taking MD's lead and posting a pic of its upcoming rag. And, of course, it attracts the haters! Dorian was an amazing Mr. Olympia. His training was brutal. His condition was the best ever. I'm glad we get to have him on another cover. Just for those calves it's worth it!

No real life info, blatant disregard for reality, no steroids etc etc. Just who is teh target audience outside of easily led teenagers fed on the bullshit that you can build a physique of a champion by eating 6 meals a day, training hard and stacking creatine with glutamine?

We actually don't post our covers on the forums, they leak out from cover tests, we actually have them removed in some cases so they don't get out too early then people wonder why a certain cover they saw isn't on the stands.

no they aren't...the color in the bg is all that was added to that image.

the new Flex kinda sucks, Troy Alves back training, Mustafa chest training, Dugdale traps and the Dorian back article is just him training James "Flex" Lewis, not the worst issue i've ever seen but not good enough to buy it.

this is a great cover, and a smart move for FLEX. dorian here doesnt look overpowering but he looks fucking awesome. he's big, ripped and strong. he's wearing normal gym clothes like anyone might actually wear. he's not posing, hes concentrating on lifting some good weight (probably rowing). he's what someone buying flex might aspire to, or think they have a realistic goal of achieving. most importantly its relatable. we've all been in that spot in the gym before.

and its not two queer shirtless dudes in cutoff jean shorts pretending to grab each others throats, or ronnie coleman incline benching 500 pounds with oakley sunglasses on--- totally unrealistic and just plain strange.
