Dexter's Amazing Transformation - Night VS Day
« on: May 13, 2006, 10:58:00 AM »
At the 2006 ASC, Dexter walked on stage and claimed his 2nd straight Arnold title. With an entire year to train solely for this one contest, many were expecting The Blade to show up larger than he's ever been. This wasn't the case.

Consider the following comparisons between Dexter Jackson's form in 2005 versus that of 2006:

MD has a very good comparison this month- FDB pose from both years. He did lose some size this year but was a tad more cut.

The new issue of MD said many times that Dex was smaller than last year. Dexter himself has said that he was sharper and in better condition. I agree with both of these statements.

This comparison shows that Dexter has refined his physique into a winning package. Like Shawn Ray before him, it is now just a matter of bringing that complete package to the Olympia stage. Will it be enough to win the crown and become the 11th Mr. Olympia? I say yes - but not until Ronnie decides to retire.

dex is awesome, but he's pretty much peaked sizewise, and he can't go much further into the conditioning size without being scrawny.

I think the next Mr O will be someone with amazing shape ala Phil Heath, or freaky thickness and conditioning, like branch.

When Branch brings up his back and arms he'll be top 3 at the Olympia. Since he has his conditioning figured out (without using a nutritionist - ever!) he's a safe horse to bet on. If he were 3 inches taller, he would be unbeatable.

Branch has no aesthetic quality whatsoever.  I hope to never see him place high.

Phil Heath should start working with Chad N next year.  He could build a nice little streak with his genetics and a similar level of muscularity as some of Chad's other guys.

Of course, there are some nasty rumors flying about the health of those who work with Chad N, but I'm sure it's just rumors.

You're full of shit Adonis - Branch has a small tight midsection and as much flow as one could expect of someone his size. He might not be Flex Wheeler but who cares - noone is. Branch has enough aesthetics and enough size to win pro shows and place top 3 at the Olympia. Period.

Actually Branch used the services of Betty Pariso as a nutritionist last year for all the shoes he competed in, including the O.
So based on what you say about Dex, next year when Ron retires, he'll beat everybody including Jay for the title?

Cutler will take at least one Mr O.... To much drive. Dex will never win the O. What is so great about him? He is ripped to shreds? Bout it. Hes short has no calves and an A taper along with high lats. Top 5 most def Mr O no way.

Who has those pics from of him doing a back double bi against Ronnie at the 04 challenge round? He looks like a smaller shittier version of the big nasty.

Dex has terrible calves and very little seperation in the front of quads.  Plus being 50-60 lbs lighter, how he could possible beat a full on Jay or Chris?  He can't unless either one is off.

He should be penalized for making that stupid face when he poses.

Is that what passes for a smile these days?

Jeez, no wonder he shy's away from the photo opps from fans.
