i agree that dj has to get better control of his gut...but darrem has holes also...what about his lack of thickness from the back? poor hams? weak calves? why doesnt anyone mention that? djs overwhelming muscularity has to be taken into consideration...as good as dave henry looked when he stands next to dj there is no contest...this is still a muscle contest and shouldnt be about who has the tightest midsection...dj could also have been a bit sharper but darrem was not spot on either...heath deserved to win because he was the most complete bodybuilder on stage but dj should have be 2nd.
You make some good points, I agree with about 1/2 of them. Darrem definitely has flaws. From the back he was flat. Henry is much smaller than DJ and couldn't beat him at his best. I think if DJ was peaked he could have won th show by dwafing everyone else.
Seeing those pic's don't even come close to telling the whole story. seeing them side by side in person was totally different from looking at the comparison shot's here. The only placing that got booed was henry's. speaking to a lot of people at the show, a majority felt he should have been at least 3rd.
I'm as much a fan of mass monsters as you are. You're right, it's not just about a tiny waist but it's also not just about muscles. it's a total package, you cannot ignore the distension on dj. I think th other guys had less flws on that night than DJ.
