1. Honor- (making a pledge to respect and avoid all others in front of family and friends)

2. Commitment- (its always easy to walk away from someone your dating getting married and becoming a true partnership is a commitment)

3. Values- (both in the value you get from taking a stand and not having a easy out and the value you get as a role model for others and your kids and family)

4. Love- (commited love not as in i love you but refuse to do so in front of others but in a commitment of feeling for all to see.

these are just a few aside from friendship/romance/safe unprotected sex/enjoyment/kids/stable life/more money/ect

commitment without action is nothing.The piece of paper you are avoiding is the plain in sight action that you choose to do, without it your just going from one girl to another and lying about your feeling and your idea of what "love is" ...If your happy drifting in life without taking a stand for something good for you but for me I choose to make a stand and a commitment and do so in front of family and friends and have a "piece of paper" that shows I did so.

there's millions of people that has as strong commitments without being married. that's just bullshit.
all in all, marriage done more harm than good to people.

by what figures or facts or anything that resembles something then your unhappy opinion? Millions of people can talk about something but if they do not step up and are counted its just that talk..weak people have opinions but it does not make them right it just makes then heard.
