As some have said.The man has had numorous surgeries/injuries,But continuse to wrestle.Way past his prime.But I give credit where credit is due.He still laces up his boots,And can still make a crowd pop.Add to the fact the man is in better shape than most in there 20's says something about his love of weight training.And there lies the diffrence.
Your comparing apples to oranges.Strength atheletes "weight lift".Physique atheletes"body build".I know this is weights 101.Bare with me.
But in wrestling you "weight train".Yes you want to look good in spandex

Strength is defanetly wanted as well.But you've got to above all else have superior conditioning,And muscle indurance.Sure you ma be able to go 1 hr. + on the tread mill.But many of you would be surprised how quickly you'd drop inthe ring.
I've lost count of the number of guys I've seen wash out.Some after one practice!Bodybuilders,Boxers,Cage fighters.I've seen 'em come and go.You have to be able to balence out your training evenly.Cardio,Edurance,Weight training,Streingth.All have to be watched.Then throw in watching your diet,And practice.Then imagine trying to manage all that while out on the road for 300 days out of the year.Injured! Cause something ALWAYS hurts.

Now.By no means am I marking out to Hogan.But think about all the variables he's been through.Hell! The man tore his lat body slaming Andre at Wrestlemania 3.And kept on workin'.Could Coleman,Cutler,or Badell do that?I know,Apples/Oranges.But I think you get where I'm coming from.
So when I read about someone making uneducated comments about someone I can relate to.In a buisness I love.I have to speak up.I say get your ass in the ring and train with us.Then run your mouth about someone letting them selves go.After years of constant abuse.At his age?Hell I hope I look that good when I'm his age.I could imagine what kind of shape you'd be in after a week in a wrestling school.Being the 154lb. bruser you are.
