Well, it wasn't "2,000" like I've been reading in the media, but that's pretty good for an old fart.  Those were quarter reps, but he's 74 so I'd give him a pass on his form.

Not very good form, but he did it...the old fart. Now send him some money for being enlightened and feeling the power of God. Especially those on the Jesus Squad.
Just ridiculous. No matter if he is an old fart or not, he shouldn't have a need to gain some respect by doing those stupid ass 10 cm (4") reps and looking moron by doing those.  That's not any effort at all; if you train to do those like that, you can load that sledge up to 3000lb and do those 4" reps with it = I have seen this with my own eyes at Gold's Gym Helsinki. There were leg press-machine with sledge which weight 560lb empty, and which you can load up to 4000lb. There were many guys who didn't squat even 300lb, but leg pressed 2000lb easily. Stupid waste of time like any "show off" in the gym. With full range those morons couldn't press 500lb, because they knees were just about gone ;D

hahahaha, what a fucking joke, those "reps" were like 3 inches, i'll give him a break because he's a 75 year old man but if he tried full reps with even a third of that he'd get buried.

It's really sad the type of dependency organized religion says people require.
Hysterical and true.
I don't give a shet how old that guy is.  It's a sorry ass leg press.  I'd hit him with a monster DEPTH!  If I saw him in the gym.  People need to chill on the ego thing and do a full rep.  I'd have more respect for a guy going deep on 2 plates.  Praise Jesus!

The funny thing about religion is the fact it's the reason for many, many wars over time.

1/2 inch reps with 1,000 pounds is pretty good for an old geezer isn't it?

I thought it was pretty good for someone his age. I just don't think he should be bragging about his lifts when his range of motion was so short.
