IMO, keeping the rulebook and the money separated is a good idea.  If all I have to worry about is keeping track of sponsors, promoting their names for being so generous, and prize dispersal, it's a good idea.  Those 2 worlds never get mixed up, as the rules get hammered out and all that.

I think the judges should be looked over one more time before making it final and I think that the regulars on Getbig should be involved more. I also think there should be a special board just about the contest as we're getting closer and closer to the date (if there's no room we could always replace the natural board that really doesn't serve a purpose)

I am new here but Hedgehog seems like the likely choice. Come on Zach, take this over so we can start talking about the contest again. Contest will end September 22, 23 approximately one week before the 2006 Olympia. A winner in both categories will be chosen by a panel of Getbig personalities, including IFBB pro SHAWN RAY! (2nd place at the Mr.Olympia 94, 96)

It's open weight class, two classes:

-Mr. Getbig (will be held on the Gossip/Opinions board Sept. 22)
-Mr. Natural Getbig (will be held here Sept. 23)

Drug free competitors can submit themselves for both categories.
Your integrity is important here!

Anyone that joins Getbig by July 1 and signs up for the contest by July 31 is eligible. You need not be a veteran that's posted here for 10 years.


Submitions:

Send a clear full body picture of yourself, including face, performing each of the mandatory poses. Specify which contest you want to compete in.

-Side Triceps
-Side Chest
-Abdominal/Thigh
-Most Muscular

These poses should be performed in posing trunks or boxers, exposing the quads.

Judging:

As the pictures of each competitor are posted here, the judges will rate them 0.0 - 10.0 taking into consideration lines, symmetry, muscle mass, aesthetics, and balance. Once all competitors have received scores for each mandatory pose, the scores will be averaged, and the competitors will receive their placings.

The placings will be revealed one by one in ascending order, once all scores are in.
After the official announcement is made, and an overall winner determined, the score cards will be released. Each judge will be listed as "judge A, judge B, etc" to protect their identity.

In the advent of a tie, all Getbiggers with 4 stars have exactly one hour to vote for the winner of the tie. Placings will be resolved this way.

Winners may be required to submit a large picture for examination before claiming their prize. We will determine if a submition was altered this way.
