I'll tell you the history of the whole thing.
The first to propose the idea of a "MrGetbig" was Adonis.

At least, the idea stemmed from the rivalry between him and Arvilla. The Luke said he would host a contest so they could settle their dispute. He was in the process of devising all sorts of elaborate rules and weight classes. People complained it was too complicated. I started defending him. I said he was the man for the job. I even PMed Ron at Luke's behest, requesting a separate board for the contest.
Ron ignored it.
I pm'd him multiple times.
He went on a Bigfoot hunt (seriously) and nothing happened.
He came back. Someone asked about the contest. Luke said there seems to be a lack of interest. When I saw this I became a little irritated because he kept putting it off so I immediately started my own Mr.Getbig contest. I set the date so it would be held a week from the Olympia. The judges were to be listed as A, B, C, to create some post show controversy. I quickly put together a simple set of rules and made it two classes only. I asked a number of people if they would judge, and surprisingly they agreed.
Sean agreed. Lee Priest agreed. Bob said, "not interested." People were telling me they would be glad to do it. Things really started picking up. People were catching on. Competitors told me they were genuinely excited about it. People pm'd me, telling me I'm doing a good job. I PM'd them back, asking them to request that Ron make it a sticky. This was done.
I said, "we might have some sort of prize, but don't count on it." 240 immediately came on and did an amazing job getting sponsors. He quickly built a website for it. I couldn't believe it. As a result, the number of people signing up doubled. People were signing up daily. He took the momentum it had and supercharged it. It was smooth sailing ahead.
I figured adding Sarcasm as a judge will add a little controversy. I was right. His vote wouldn't count if he attempted to throw the contest though. Measures were put in place to prevent that....
I threw out little quotes: "TA has pro size mass....." This was all to create controversy. It was an exciting thing on the boards. I figured it would alleviate some of the boardome. At the same time, I felt like it was helping Getbig....
Then a few people that had nothing to do with it started bitching and saying negative stuff constantly. These two or three started complaining constantly. They bitched incessantly and here we are.
It's out of my hands now apparently.
Ron wants to take it in another direction.
