In 1997 Nasser could legitimatley won the Olympia, he was arguably at his best. Absolutley massive yet his waist was still tight and he had a good taper. You can see in 99 that his waist is much larger and his physique is already begining to loose it's "look".

but he was not ronnie coleman wide..tho one the widest tho...damn at mr olympia 1999 there were alot of real wide guys...some of the most widest guys ever competed there...we had ronnie coleman,paul dillet,jean pierre fux,markus ruhl,nasser el sonbaty,jay cutler,kevin levrone,ernie taylor..all of them known for their overall width..damn now days we don't see line up that imprssive at any olympia these few years.i think the olympia 1999 was the last great olympia worth seeing... |

you hear things about ronnie's attributes all the time (his back, arms. mass, etc.) but you never hear anything about his width. he def. is not one of the widest. there are many wider guys than ronnie. but does that matter, considering he's mr. o. - not really.

Great vids, thanks. It reminded me that Nasser was a actually pretty dam good BB at his peak, pushed Yates hard. He seemed sharper and bigger in the later video though, and he brought his back up to a good standard. Though you can see that the extra mass came at a price... waist like a fridge.
