I've got to agree on this since Alchohol related accidents kill an outrageous number of people and what about smoking related deaths from Cancer to falling asleep with a cigarette, the numbers are unreal.

Drugs other than alcohol (e.g., marijuana and cocaine) are involved in about 18% of motor vehicle driver deaths. These other drugs are generally used in combination with alcohol (Jones et al. 2003).

You're a hell of a lot more likely to die from from a drunk driver hitting you than someone who's just smoked some weed. But alchohol is not illegal, why should weed be?

Because 90% of politicians smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol..they only ban things they don't care about...(ephedra, prohormones)....save the children...get rid of andro...but don't take away my cigarettes and alcohol

Good announcer though, because he knows the game, as he did as a QB. Understands & explains the game far better than most of the mediocrities on the air. He might have said it a little harshly but Williams is a loser. Ironically they'll have both played for the same CFL team.

BUT....the NFL has a problem with football player beating the crap out of their wives and/or getting DWI's.

That's a poor example: you're basically saying that because of the irrational behavior of a sad team like Detroit, William's behavior is just fine. One doesn't justify the other.

Millen's inexplicably there because of the strong control of the family. Someone making the decisions who doesn't understand football thinks Millen knows what he's doing.

your right its a poor example but i'm saying that the owners of Detroit represent management...Ricky is the labor...Ricky quit his job, big deal....thousands do it every day...Contracts don't mean shit today...Management always has the upper hand...If Ricky didn't owe so much money, we wouldn't have seen him come back...Now the NFL is making an example of him...Fact is he is doing what 90%(guess) of all NBA players do every night

Joe was born and raised in Pennsylvania but played at Alabama for Bear Bryant.

Joe was the reason the AFL and NFL merged. He was a great quarterback who played on mostly terrible teams. He also suffered a lot of significant injuries. He has one hamstring that tore completely from the bone and as a result is nothing but a big knot right under a glute.
