so you have lee priest, a top bber for the last 8 years, is going to compete against guys like jack london, vince galanti, and other people who never trully qualified to turn professional.  wayne is just filling up a roster.    i predict the PDI will fold.

Lee's my favourite bodybuilder on the planet, but $60 to watch him show up, guest pose, and absolutely demolish the competition?  The NOC will be poorly attended is my guess.

No offence to Rhino or Galanti et al, they all seem like good guys and I hope they do well but I would put Lee amongst the top 3 bodybuilders in the world.  No competition.

well, whether it be ifbb or pdi, does not matter. For me, top 5 in the noc will garner me much more than continuing the non-sense in the npc. Beating Lee Preist is not why I am going, I have no illusions, but top 5 will get me all I want, trust me, I will be happy, and so will those be in attendance. As far as poor attendance, the show is almost sold out already. Oh, one more thing, there has not even beena  show, and I am making more money than half the ifbb pros.

Tell me how that is bad for our sport.

You misread me Rhino.  I don't think it's bad for the sport at all.  I think it's great.  But I think that ticket prices starting at $60 is bad for the fans.  At least offer some cheap seats in the back for $20 or so.

If you made more money in the PDI than Ronnie makes in the IFBB I'd be the first to pat you on the virtual back but most IFBB shows are poorly attended with a huge roster of pros, how can the PDI expect to charge $60 for bad seats at a gig with only a small handful of bodybuilders anybody has even heard of before?

That's cool that the Pro Card winner(s) from the amateur show the night before can compete the next day in the Pro Comp.

Well, I see what you are saying, but this is going to be entertaining. I'm telling you, think about it, how boring are shows? And everyone already knows who the top 5 are. We have things lined up that will blow your mind, seriously, aren't you interesed to see how I do? Not to be cocky, hell, think about it, when I place in the money, thais going to be controversial. "would I, should I have been in the IFBB?"

you know shit like that.... you should come, I am so sure you will love it.

Place holds 1500 people.  Does anyone really doubt that Wayne DeMilianaire can't sell 1200 tix plus comps to a premiere show of a new division in NYC?

NOC will be sold out.

Well then, that clears it all up. Thanks! ??? ::)

your questions and agenda are not true, so thats the answer you get.

shit, everyone on getbig has fiqured out that I am the real deal, I have talked to everyone, helped them, been nothing but honest. Shit, even sarcasm and I are boys, where have you been.

I'm still waiting for you to answer the last issue you created about me asking to go to the Orlando show, and that the promoter said "no"

meanwhile, I have never spoken to the promoter....

why did you say that, and all the other things about me that were bullshit?
Is it because the ifbb is pushing you too, or are you just that jealous of me?

I even pmed you and tried to burry the hatchet, when I was wrong, nothing...but now you pop up asking this loaded question....

you need to make ammends with me, or crawl back under your rock.

You've got me figured out.  ::)

Look, I don't have anything fiqured out, but I will try this one more time......

You have bashed me continuously in the past, but you know what, fuck it!! I don't likr this back and forth, I have been wrong, and defensive and I am willing, one more time to try to burry the hatchet.

you can certainly understand my defensiveness, but i will try one last time to be freinds. I don't care who you root for, pdi, ifbb, I don't want to hate, and I really don't want anyone hating on me,

so the ball is in your court...truce?  freinds?

lets be fucking adults, we really have no real reason for hating on each other, I mean we have never even met.

Thanks but you know what? We have enough people hating on US, we need not be hating on each other, so i extend MY hand in freindship.

Time will only tell.  I'm just giving my perspective as a fan.  Speaking of perspective, for $60 I could get great seats to see some of the best bands on the planet live in concert.  AC/DC, Metallica, KISS, Slipknot, Manson etc. all put on a huge production with walls of amps and non-stop pyro not to mention a killer live performance.  If the PDI is trying to get a new audience to attend it's shows, why would I give up my hard earned dollar to see a low budget (relative) production with only a handful of contenders and an obvious winner?  There's only so much you can do with bodybuilding to make it exciting.  I'm all for a change and a more interesting contest, but I just don't see the logic in such expensive tickets with the exception of proven large shows like the Olympia and The Arnold that consistently sell out.

Who's going to pay for the supply if there's no demand?

I'd rather see metallica too. I don't think the price is out of line, especially for what it will cost to produce.

But hey, your entitled to feel that way. I guess I just thought for those of us that spend so much time in the sport, even on the board talking, we would want our money to go to each other. The guys from metallica won't speak to me on the internet, they don't care much about me, nor I them.

i love bodybuilding and would do everything I could, with my money-to help it grow.

But that does not mean everyone will feel this way, so thats cool. I respect totally what you are saying, but don't really have much of an answer except what i have stated.

I'll just bow out. Forget I said anything.

See what I mean, I extend my hand and this is the response.

What would it have hurt to make ammends, I feel bad for you man, I'm not even mad.......

thats fucking pathetic, I gave you every opportunity, and you "bowed out"

If Wayne can consistently sell out venues at those prices, than my opinion is moot because he's not going to miss my dollar.  But if attendance is poor the PDI and ultimately it's athletes will suffer when it folds.  But who knows, Wayne's no dummy and is probably counting on the fact that the PDI's first event will generate enough hype that it will sell out or come close.  The trick will be to keep the tickets selling.

I wish you all the best with the PDI and think you're a good guy to have posting here.

Jack, I "bowed out" because of the response I illicit from you whenever I post. I had (or have) no intention of back and forth banter either. As for extending your hand, I thought that we had already squashed that whole thing via PM. Hence, my not mentioning it.

Sean, just take Rhino on Maury and see if he really is the daddy.  It'll clear up all this animosity.
