Jack, I "bowed out" because of the response I illicit from you whenever I post. I had (or have) no intention of back and forth banter either. As for extending your hand, I thought that we had already squashed that whole thing via PM. Hence, my not mentioning it.

You never pmed me back, and I took that as you turning your back, I am not a mind reader.

I have made it public, it's up to you man, I don't want to fight, it's a waste, Id rather be positive.

If you enter threads like this without us getting straight, thats why you keep illiciting the same response.

so, again, burry the hatchet?

Everyone already knows the top five in this show too:

1) Lee Priest
2) Vince taylor
3) Vinny G
4) Rhino

If anyone else bothers to enter the contest, insert them between Vinny and Rhino.  ::)

you forgot steve sinton, and andreas frey.

that would make me 6th. Still in the money, and still going to the european tour.....

thats the ironic part of your statement....

but we shall see how the rhino does(I love speaking about myself in the 3rd person-LOL)

peace, goat

Who the fuck is "Sean Maloney" and why does he have blue stars?  Is he that douche whose only claim to fame is being an american gladiator 15 years ago and "knowing" some people in the industry?

I'll just bow out. Forget I said anything.

In the world today, manners -market square civility, etc. - are a rare commodity. Jack has twice extended the olive branch in open forum; your (non) answer is not only disrespectful, but snidely disingenuous.

Time will only tell.  I'm just giving my perspective as a fan.  Speaking of perspective, for $60 I could get great seats to see some of the best bands on the planet live in concert.  AC/DC, Metallica, KISS, Slipknot, Manson etc. all put on a huge production with walls of amps and non-stop pyro not to mention a killer live performance.  If the PDI is trying to get a new audience to attend it's shows, why would I give up my hard earned dollar to see a low budget (relative) production with only a handful of contenders and an obvious winner?  There's only so much you can do with bodybuilding to make it exciting.  I'm all for a change and a more interesting contest, but I just don't see the logic in such expensive tickets with the exception of proven large shows like the Olympia and The Arnold that consistently sell out.

Who's going to pay for the supply if there's no demand?

Well the show already to date has sold more tickets that the Colorado Pro had in total attendance for their night show.  I have heard the numbers.  This show will be sold out 110%.  And please don't think Lee is the only top tier BB their is.  Lee is the only one you know of.  SO far the NOC is on-track EXACTLY liked it was planned.  Has anyone heard of Charles Blake.  Probably not, but with his connections and contacts don't worry everything is going in the perfect direction.  And that flyer has been mailed to 1000's of BB fans around the world.  And wait to see how many fans are flying in from Europe.  This show could very easily be the most attended by foriegn fans other than the ASC and Olympia

If it's sold out, great - Wayne can then charge whatever he can get.  It'll be interesting to see the following shows though.  A lot of IFBB pro shows have folded over the years due to poor ticket sales, and for good reason.  Mediocre lineups and sky high ticket prices are a recipe for failure.  I think you mentioned a key point, the PDI seems to be set to go after the European market, a very smart move on their part.  Even if they're not succesful here, they should do well there.  Hopefully (and knowing Wayne, I'm sure he has) all the competitors are locked in by contract to compete.  I think a big problem with the Colorado Pro was the constant lineup changes.  There's no way in hell I'd plan a vacation to Colorado to see a pro show where you didn't even know who the hell was going to show up?  For the average person, a vacation represents a couple of months of planning ahead to arrange tickets, hotels etc.

Wayne is actually using his weather machine to ensure a beautiful day for the NOC.  He would send a hurricane to Nevada for the O, but I think the IFBB is doing a fine enough job of destroying their own show ;)

Umm.. I wouldn't put money on any apolagizing anytime soon, or ever!

I've stayed out of the 20 page back-and-forth cat fights, very amusing to read however. I just don't understand whey there is so much negativity towards the new pdi venture. Yes it's new, no it hasn't proven anything yet, but why mock it?? The sport is and should be decided on by the FANS. Competition, or more choice is always good for the end user - the fans. Let's bring back some excitement into the sport, take it to the mainstream level that hasn't happened in 50-60 years of it's existence besides the Schwarzenegger/Pumping Iron era  ;)

excitment of the sport is not created by people riding on to the stage on large animals.

remember a few years back when the pros were allowed to use props.  they looked retarted.

bbing will never be mainstream and it shouldnt.  bbin should just continue to please its fans and new ones will come due to their own interest from working out, bbing, etc.

anyway you look at, most people are not interested in bbing competitions regardless of the pyro or whatever else you try to tease them with.  its still guys in underwear in oil posing on stage.

espc. with all this talk about steroids in sports, the last thing bbing needs right now is publicity.

one more thing about the price money. sounds like a lot of money for a show with a mostly non-pro's copmeting.  why would sponsors invest more in that show, then others shows, where the bbers are actually known?

also, people always bitched how bad bbing was in the 90's (besides the talent competiting).  same people always placing in the same shows in the same places.  the shows were boring and bbing suffered a great deal of less popularity from the 80's and 90's. well, guess who ran the bbing promoted many of the shows - DeMilia.  nothing against wayne, i'm just a bit skeptical about how something can suppossedly be much better with much less talent?

I would love to go but it will probably be sold out.......... I know this show will be awesome just cause it's somthing fresh and new to BBing which has been increasingly dull.

I think it's because no one has mentioned the 2006 Olympia in about 2 weeks here.  But we've had 5 or 10 PDI threads a day here, some of them very long.

If I was a sponsor, I'd put my money into the newer, smaller show that everyone is talking about it, instead of the older, most established show that is just plain boring to discuss.

If I was a casual fan, I'd wonder... Imagine how cool it would have been to attend the FIRST Olympia or FIRST Arnold Classic?  This is even bigger... if magic happens, and the show is a huge success, and the PDI ends up growing and flourishing, the fans could say "I was there".

Why don't you get demilia to post here 240.  I rarely concern myself with the idea of getting "names" to post here but I think it would be hilarious.  Imagine the IFBB response.

Incidentally to all IFBB lackeys out there I take cash for positive IFBB comments.  Same for PDI.  PM for quotes.  Photoshop parodies extra.  Gay insinuations considered free and part of the package.

well, whether it be ifbb or pdi, does not matter. For me, top 5 in the noc will garner me much more than continuing the non-sense in the npc. Beating Lee Preist is not why I am going, I have no illusions, but top 5 will get me all I want, trust me, I will be happy, and so will those be in attendance. As far as poor attendance, the show is almost sold out already. Oh, one more thing, there has not even beena  show, and I am making more money than half the ifbb pros.

Tell me how that is bad for our sport.
Exactly why languish in the NPC/IFBB monopoly when instead you can make a name for yourself on a grandstage with no politics?  And the NOC will be sold out just because the name Night of Champions carries so much clout.  Coleman, Ruhl, Nasser, Yates, so many great champions.  Hopefully the trend will continue
