Where he will place depends on the number of pros competing other than him.

To get his probable placing simply take that number and add one.

eg. if there are 12 pros + Tamali in the show, he will probably place 13th ;D

Kamali has improved at the NY Pro since his last outing, and will continue to improve at the Southwest Pro & Montreal Pro show, and gasp, probably qualify for the O at one of these shows. Have some faith boys, the King is on a slow improvement trail...

After reading Ron's interview, the guy doesn't seem all that bad. And there are worse looking bodybuilders out there, for sure. From the pics I've seen here, he is changing his physique, to address the flaws people have pointed out.

A serious question: I haven't followed the King Kamali stuff on here all that long. What exactly did he do to piss so many people off?

Ah, the boards. Lots of comments there. What did you think about the comments that you used Synthol and Diuretics all of the time?

I don't think anybody uses Synthol anymore. That is a complete misconception by a lot of bodybuilders and general people who are don't compete. Synthol is something that came around for a few years, and then all of the athletes realized that this stuff does not help you, it destroys physiques. It makes you lumpy, gives you a distorted look, it builds up incredible amounts of scar tissues, and nobody uses it anymore. So that it a mute point. As for diuretics use, well, that is why I am working with Joe McNeil right now. What people don't realize is that, yes steroids are bad for you if you do a lot of it for a long period of time. It is very harmful and does a lot of damage. But diuretics is what kills. Benaziza died from diuretics, Matarazzo almost died from diuretics, Dillett almost died from diuretics, Flex Wheeler has problem because of diuretics. I didn't use any diuretics this time around. I didn't need to. That is why I hired Joe McNeil because he doesn't believe in diuretics.

liar! moron! misleading! the use of oil is very common to this day in the bodybuilding industry. you either use it as an enhancment to a specific body part such as,in kamali case, diff parts of the arm, or you use the aas oil and inject the product directly into the muscle needed the kick (it is done mostly with suspension and somewhat with prop while other anabolics are being used too to a lesser degree)
duretics are also used in 99% of the cases at the level of competition presented here.

So you have an attitude?

Look, I just grew up. It's pointless. It doesn't matter if I stay quiet or go on the boards and go crazy. People are still going to hate, they are still going to talk their crap, because they don't have other things to do with their lives. I am willing to bet that the ones that talk the most garbage have never stepped on a bodybuilding stage, because true bodybuilders, even competitors that are not in the best of shape, people who compete, I still respect them because they have the balls to step on stage, and compete.

the reason they dislike you is because in this industry you only allow to talk if the talk fits the physiqe. in you case you have a lot  A LOT more work to do inorder to be able to win a pro show if and when and in my opinion you WILL NEVER EVER WIN a pro show. mark my words and date it.

Now, you made a comment on the boards that you are going to give Shawn Ray some harsh words and comments? What do you want to say?

I am going to say what I have to say on Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Radio show, because I promised Bob Cicherillo I would wait, but I can tell you this, after I go on the radio show, Shawn Ray will never talk about me again. And I have physical proof on my statements. And I am not going to tell you right now, so don't keep asking me. Just wait a few weeks.

now this is important my friend and you will read it or be directed to it my iranian friend. listen carefuly! i swear on mighty allah that if i get to hear this show (and i know i will because 240 will make sure i will) and i hear you saying shit that is not true or made up about shawn ray i will gather every one you ever got gear from and i will get every single last detail of products purchased by you and put all out to the public to see.  from the biggest of the biggest from ret to alin to the little private suppliers. i will dig up a nightmare for you.

I agree he was much improved from last year and if he continues to improve within the next year he could be equal or better then when he turned pro but thats only if he continues improving at the rate he is :)

Yeah. I mean, it's fun to dump shit on Kamali, but even after we've enjoyed our cheap laughs, there's the still the reality that he's been mediocre for his entire pro career to date - the bodybuilding equivalent of, say, Antonio Sabato Jr.

I think he'll place in the top 3 if he maintains this sort of conditioning  :o :o

Man, he has nice abs, SICK QUADS and HUMONGOUS DELTS BABY AND DELICIOUS SHREDDED GLUTES BABY!!!!!!!!!!  :o

There is all kinds of things wrong here. Im sorry for King's sake, but he really has gone backwards. The arms are small, the quads are average at best, calves non-existant, waistline bulging. If these are the pictures which were supposedly of King in the conditioning necessary to win the NY pro show, then Im not sure what those people were thinking
